Engagement refers to the state of employees when they are engaged in work.Employee engagement has always been an important issue concerned by human resources scholars.Over the years, human resources experts and scholars have paid more and more attention to employees’ engagement.A large number of studies show that employees with high engagement have stronger work vitality, concentration and effort. Therefore,if the employee’s engagement is high, the employee’s job performance will be higher, which can bring greater sustainable competitive advantage to the organization. The 14 th Five Year Plan period put forward higher requirements for statistical investigation.Similarly,in the process of statistical investigation, because grass-roots investigators shoulder the mission of directly communicating with the respondents, they undertake the responsibility of collecting and verifying statistical investigation data, which has become one of the driving forces to promote the progress and development of statistical investigation.Therefore,grass-roots investigators have become a very key link of statistical investigation.Whether the engagement of grass-roots investigators directly affects the quality of the data searched and investigated, and then has a lasting impact on the whole statistical investigation work.Based on the above background situation, this paper focuses on the QR grass-roots investigators engaged in statistical investigation. After consulting and combing a large number of literature and research materials, combined with the actual situation of QR statistical investigation, this paper designs the engagement questionnaire. The questionnaire is distributed and recovered for 108 grass-roots investigators, and the recovery rate is 100%.It is hoped that the questionnaire survey can be used to better understand the actual level of grass-roots investigators’ engagement and the factors affecting their engagement.According to the various data obtained from the questionnaire survey,SPSS software is used, and various analysis methods such as descriptive statistical analysis, difference analysis and regression analysis are adopted. The specific conclusion is that the engagement of grass-roots investigators in QR city is at the middle level,It can also be improved appropriately. From the comparative analysis of the differences in the personal characteristics of grass-roots investigators,it can be seen that older investigators are more dedicated; The engagement of investigators in urban survey points is better than that in rural survey points; The engagement of unmarried investigators is better than that of married investigators; The engagement of investigators with positions is due to the absence of investigators with positions.According to the dimensions that affect the engagement of grass-roots investigators, the recognition of grass-roots investigators in terms of personal perception and management system dimensions is relatively close, but the recognition of working environment dimensions including work subsidies is obviously low. After regression analysis,it is concluded that the three dimensions of personal perception, management system and work subsidy have a significant positive correlation with the engagement of grass-roots investigators. Therefore, this paper puts forward three strategies to improve the engagement of statistical investigators in QR city. They are to improve the selection and employment management process of investigators,so as to select suitable people to enter the team of investigators.Improving the fair and reasonable subsidy and welfare system can make investigators feel real returns and gains, and strengthening the construction and publicity of statistical culture can really affect the hearts of investigators,Drive their own spiritual motivation to really do a good job in the investigation.
