Rural left-behind children are the product of my country’s "migrant worker tide" and the "urban-rural dual system".A large number of young and middle-aged rural people leave their hometowns to work in cities to earn economic income, and their children "left-behind" in the place of household registration."Parent-child separation" makes it difficult to guarantee the safety of left-behind children, lack of growth and companionship, and prone to psychological problems.Low self-esteem,loneliness,sensitivity,and emotional instability often occur.Although there may be some problems with left-behind children in rural areas, the author still found that rural left-behind children have nurtured their unique advantages and qualities under specific environmental conditions, and their energy and resources can help them face the challenges in life.Difficulties and challenges help it grow better.Relying on the project of "Caring for Left-behind Children Social Survey and Tracking Service" in Tingzu Town,Ezhou City, this study selects 10 left-behind children from the 171 rural left-behind children who have been registered to carry out case work based on the perspective of advantages. The results of the evaluation tool show that: from the perspectives of the individual and the environment of left-behind children in rural areas, individuals show good self-care ability, unique ability to resist setbacks, and the excellent quality of not being afraid of life and bearing hardships and stand hard work in life;at the same time, rural left-behind children Children also have resources from the environment, companionship from peer groups, family and relative support, preferential treatment from local government and community resources, and national child welfare and policy support.Research shows that when applying the strengths Perspective to rural left-behind children, the following matters need to be paid attention to: pay attention to the client’s individual and environmental advantages, and ignite the client’s determination to change;build a service plan with the client through equal dialogue;integrate The client’s internal and external resources to promote positive change. The assessment showed that the client’s needs were met and the existing challenges and difficulties were improved. Therefore,it is effective to use the strengths Perspective to intervene in the casework practice of left-behind children.
