| In 1929,1932,1936 and 1940,the Nanjing National Government issued the middle school physical education curriculum standards for four consecutive times,which made the middle school physical education curriculum develop towards standardization and systematization.The characteristics of its curriculum and the experience of success and failure provide some enlightenment and guidance for the reform of middle school physical education curriculum in China.By using the methods of literature,historical research,comparative research and case study,this paper studies the impact of the promotion of physical education thought and new life movement during the period of Nanjing National Government on the physical education curriculum in middle schools,as well as the physical education teaching objectives,teaching contents,physical education class hours,physical education performance examination and the characteristics of physical education teaching methods at that time,and draws the following conclusions:First,during the period of Nanjing National Government,the physical education curriculum in middle schools was influenced by naturalism and nationalism on the one hand,and the new life movement on the other.Second,the physical education curriculum objectives of middle schools during the period of Nanjing national government were detailed before the war of resistance against Japan,and the content of national defense skills was added after the war of resistance against Japan;The teaching content is rich and diverse;There is a serious shortage of physical education curriculum,but there is enough time for extracurricular sports.Third,during the period of Nanjing National Government,the examination content of middle school physical education curriculum was extensive,which paid attention to the students’ sports technical achievements and moral style,and the examination methods were relatively novel.Fourth,during the period of Nanjing National Government,the teaching methods of middle school physical education curriculum standards were diverse,which was conducive to the better implementation of middle school physical education curriculum. |
