| With the development of economy,China’s aging process is accelerating,the issue of pension has become a hot topic in all walks of life.Under the background of population aging,the disability of the elderly is prominent,the acceleration of population mobility and the tendency of family structure miniaturization lead to the weakening of family pension function.Therefore,many disabled elderly people choose to live in pension institutions,and the soaring demand for pension makes the number of pension institutions continue to increase.However,pension institutions pay more attention to the care of daily life,and neglect the spiritual needs of the elderly.Due to the physical limitations of the disabled elderly,their spiritual needs are often more intense.Disabled elderly people living in institutions leave the familiar living environment,lack of emotional support from relatives and friends,and feel lonely and lonely.These negative emotions affect the quality of life of the elderly in their later years.This study started from the performance and causes of loneliness in mildly disabled elderly,comprehensively analyzed the emotional needs of mildly disabled elderly,and made members form mutual support and identification through group activities,so as to improve the quality of spiritual life and improve the inner loneliness.This paper takes the mildly disabled elderly in QF apartment for the elderly as the research object,and carries out targeted mutual support groups under the guidance of social support theory and activity theory.Through questionnaire survey,interview,observation and other methods,the loneliness of the mildly disabled elderly was summarized,and the problems such as lack of interpersonal communication and lack of intimate relationship support were understood.Therefore,group services were designed from the construction of emotional support network and improvement of self-identity.In the intervention of social work,based on the social support theory,the team members were helped to establish emotional mutual support network and enhance peer group’s support for the mildly disabled elderly.Combined with activity theory,group activities can help group members maintain good interpersonal interaction,actively participate in social activities,affirm self-worth,improve confidence in life and relieve loneliness by reviewing the past.Through the research,it is found that the intervention of social work makes up for the deficiency of mental care in pension institutions,and helps to solve the emotional needs of the mildly disabled elderly;Group work plays a positive role in alleviating loneliness and improving self-identity of the mildly disabled elderly in institutions.Finally,it is further suggested that professional social workers be introduced into the apartment for the elderly to improve family members’ attention to the spiritual life of the elderly with mild disability,carry out activities to consider the particularity of the elderly with mild disability,and improve the support degree of spiritual care for the elderly with mild disability in the apartment for the elderly. |
