| With the rapid development of China’s urbanization and the continuous construction and expansion of urban industrial zones,development zones and residential areas,the farmers who originally lived around the city and lived on agriculture have become landless farmers who have no land to grow.According to the outline of the national land use master plan,the number of landless farmers in China will reach 130 million by 2030.As a new special group,such a large number of landless farmers not only have land to rely on,but also are difficult to integrate into the city in the short term and can not enjoy the urban social security,which has seriously affected the local social stability.Employment is the key link to solve the problem,but it has become a fact that landless farmers are difficult to obtain employment in the market-oriented employment environment because of their low level of education.In addition,landless farmers have certain land acquisition compensation,which leads to low enthusiasm of these farmers to strive for employment.A large number of labor force is idle at home,which also leads to a large waste of human resources.Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to analyze the relevant factors affecting the employment of landless farmers and explore the effective methods to promote the employment of landless farmers through factor combination analysis.The development of Jiaozuo urban-rural integration demonstration area is a typical representative of the development of the third tier cities in Henan.This study takes the landless farmers in the demonstration area as the research object for analysis and discussion.This paper is mainly carried out from the following six parts:the first part is the introduction,which mainly analyzes the research background,research purpose and research significance of this paper,and combs the relevant research on the employment of landless farmers by scholars at home and abroad.The second part mainly explains the basic theory of the employment of landless farmers.The third part,through literature review,collates and analyzes the various measures formulated by the governments at all levels of the country,Henan Province and Jiaozuo City on the employment of landless farmers,as well as the current actual situation of the employment of landless farmers.The fourth part first introduces the design concept of questionnaire survey,and then describes the statistical results of Jiaozuo urban-rural integration demonstration area through questionnaire survey and sorting.The fifth part makes an in-depth discussion on the factors affecting the employment of landless farmers by using binary logistic regression analysis and FS QCA analysis,and finds out several effective methods to promote farmers’ employment.The sixth part puts forward policy suggestions based on the previous research conclusions.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)55.8%of landless farmers are currently in employment;More than 90%of farmers are willing to lose their land;And those with higher education have stronger employment intention.(2)The main reasons why farmers who have no willingness to work are:low wages in the job market,poor welfare benefits and rent income;(3)Having employment intention and good physical quality are the stepping stones to reemployment;(4)Landless farmers have a low level of education and skills other than non-agricultural skills,which can make up for the defect of low education;Landless farmers generally have a low level of education and no skills.Therefore,landless farmers are more willing to participate in employment training to make up for their lack of education and skills.(5)Employment placement and endowment insurance will promote the employment of landless farmers.Based on the above research conclusions,this paper finally puts forward relevant policy suggestions such as guiding correct employment awareness,strengthening infrastructure construction and improving employment support services. |
