Research On Social Work Intervention In The Construction Of Mutual Assistance Network For The Solitary Elderly In The City

The population aging in China has continuously deepened,showing the changing trend of the increasing number of solitary elderly.Now the solitary elderly have become a special social group that can not be neglected and should continue to be paid attention to.After retirement,the scope of activities of the elderly living alone in the urban area has shifted from the workplace to the family and the community,the establishment of self-efficacy and confidence in life,as well as the linking of community resources to build an interactive network and enhancing social support are worth the concern of the society.Social workers can offer their professional strengths in the construction of a mutual assistance network for the solitary elderly,which can help them to realize their potential and value,and support them to enjoy their twilight years and self-fulfillment,and ultimately continue to promote the solitary elderly to have a sense of support,dependence,happiness and security.S community is a pilot community of Suishui City to explore a new model of community embedded home care service,and actively introduce social work to participate in it,constantly explore the capabilities of the solitary elderly,and deepen the connotation of mutual assistance among the solitary elderly.Based on the practical reflection of the solitary elderly in the S community,this thesis takes the relationship theory as the theoretical basis,and finds that the willingness of the solitary elderly to help each other is reflected in the satisfaction of community participation,social support,and psychological care needs,and faces some problems that the relationship subject lacks the awareness of mutual assistance,the relationship link needs to be reconstructed,and the relationship network is not yet sound.The practice of social work is mainly divided into three levels,at the level of the relationship subject,the core cadres of the community are mobilized to build trust with the solitary elderly,and the principle of individualization helps the solitary elderly to improve their self-efficacy and stimulates the elderly to participate in the mutual assistance network.On the relational linkage level,group activities and community activities were carried out to promote interaction and mutual support for the solitary elderly and enhance their community participation;on the relational network level,support from multiple community actors was sought to consolidate the results,link social resources,and express care for the solitary elderly.The study focuses on the improvement of the competence of the solitary elderly,the interaction of interpersonal relationships,and the optimization of the support network,initially constructs a mutual support network for the solitary elderly,and a good culture of mutual support is established,the needs of the solitary elderly in the community are met,and the solitary elderly can achieve better individual development in the community,the overall mental outlook of the solitary elderly is improved,the motivation of interpersonal interaction is increased.In order to improve social work interventions in the construction of mutual assistance networks for the solitary elderly,it is necessary to enhance the participation of relationship subjects,stabilize and extend the relationship chain,and promote the sustainable development of the relationship network.
