The junior high school "Morality and Rule of Law" course is guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and based on social development and student life.It is an important course to implement the fundamental task of moral cultivation,meet the needs of students for public participation in development,and cultivate new people to take on the task of national rejuvenation.As an important symbol of social civilization and progress,voluntary service is an important carrier for carrying forward Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and transmitting positive energy of socialism.It plays an important role in improving people’s ideological and moral cultivation and cultivating new people who are brave enough to take on the responsibilities of The Times.It can be seen that there is a strong consistency between "Morality and Rule of Law" course in junior middle school and volunteer service activities in cultivating new people.As one of the important forms of practical teaching,volunteer service activities are applied to the practical teaching of "Morality and Rule of Law" course in junior high schools,which can not only realize the organic combination of theory and practice,but also promote the comprehensive improvement of students’ knowledge,intention and behavior,which has important application value for enhancing the teaching effect of the curriculum.Although voluntary service activities can achieve good teaching results in the practical teaching of "Morality and Rule of Law" course in junior middle school,there are still some problems in practical application.The main manifestations are: the frequency of voluntary service activities is low,the organization and management of activities is weak,the form of activities is single,and the connection between activity content and curriculum teaching is not close enough.The main reasons are that teachers and students do not pay enough attention to voluntary service activities,the organization and management of activities are difficult,the information resources of activities are not unobstructed,and the design of activities is divorced from the reality of teaching.Therefore,in view of the practical problems existing in the current voluntary service activities in the practical teaching of "Morality and Rule of Law" course in junior middle school,efforts need to be made from four aspects: First,to improve the subject’s attention,through the development of incentive mechanism,change teachers’ educational concepts,enhance students’ awareness of independent participation and other ways to promote the normal development of activities in curriculum practice teaching.Second,improve the organization and management of activities,and effectively promote their orderly implementation in curriculum teaching by improving the management system,strengthening organizational training,optimizing the design of activity links and so on.Third,strengthen communication and cooperation,gather various forces,strive for financial support,and actively build a volunteer service practice teaching network information platform.On this basis,closely combined with the teaching theme,help to develop diversified forms of activities.Fourth,based on the learning situation of teaching materials,improve the design of activity teaching plan,pay attention to activity feedback and evaluation,and fully highlight the value guidance of teachers and students’ moral practice,so as to promote the organic connection between voluntary service activities and curriculum content.
