In November 2020,the Tibetan boy Ding Zhen became popular for a short video,and netizens called him "Sweet Wild Boy".Soon after,Ding Zhen became the tourism ambassador of Litang County,Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture,Sichuan Province,which attracted the attention of mainstream media.He also participated in the United Nations Development Programme(UNDP)award ceremony in Beijing.Under the guidance of mainstream media,Ding Zhen has established a positive media image as a "Sweet Wild Boy" who promotes the development of his hometown.Ding Zhen came into the public eye through a short video on Tik Tok,and then the main public opinion was shifted to Sina Weibo.Through the tracing of Micro-blog texts,it was found that the Micro-blog with the widest range of influence and the most obvious effect on Ding Zhen’s publicity originated from the official Micro-blog of mainstream media.This thesis selects Sina Weibo as the research platform and takes 18 official Micro-blog of mainstream media from November 2020 to November 2021 as the samples.Using the framework theory and content research method,we systematically analyze the three levels of Micro-blog text,focusing on the number of Micro-blog,presentation forms,coverage themes,coverage tendencies,information sources,high-frequency words and symbols,in order to explore the influence of mainstream media official Micro-blog on the construction of Ding Zhen’s image.In order to explore the path of constructing Ding Zhen’s image by the official Micro-blog of mainstream media,we conducted a survey on the audience through a questionnaire.At the same time,we analyzed Ding Zhen’s image as perceived by the audience through a questionnaire survey,which was used as a basis for evaluating the effect of constructing Ding Zhen’s image on the official Micro-blog of mainstream media.In addition,noting that Ding Zhen’s popularity is different from that of many netizens,we used the comprehensive analysis method to investigate the reasons for Ding Zhen’s attention and promotion by mainstream media.Through the research,we found that the official Micro-blog of mainstream media showed the following characteristics: among the collected Micro-blog samples,there were more Micro-blog in the early stage,highlighting the key events and expanding the audience;the presentation forms were "text plus video" and "text plus image".The number of "text plus video" and "text plus picture" is the majority;the topics of the reports are rich,covering a wide range;the reports are not significantly biased,mainly objective and impartial;the content of the Micro-blog is mostly self-picked and self-edited,with low homogenization;the extracted high-frequency words show that Ding Zhen’s image is closely connected with his hometown;Ding Zhen has become a "symbol" and a "living business card" of his hometown.Ding Zhen has become a "symbol" and a "living name card" of his hometown.The results of the questionnaire survey show that the image of Ding Zhen in the audience’s mind is positive,which is consistent with the image of Ding Zhen that the mainstream media official Micro-blog try to construct,indicating that the image of Ding Zhen is well constructed.It is not by chance that mainstream media chose Ding Zhen,but the timing of Ding Zhen’s appearance in the public’s view,as well as the qualities and flow of Ding Zhen’s body,can have a positive effect.2020 is the closing year of China’s war on poverty eradication,attracting all walks of life to participate in poverty eradication and poverty return prevention and control work,the mainstream media narrative background has changed,the "Ding Zhen’s The publicity of "Ding Zhen’s" has been intensified.Under the guidance of mainstream media,the development of Ding Zhen became a driving force for local economic and cultural development,and also provided useful inspiration for the development and character image construction of Netflix: mainstream media should correctly guide public figures to establish a positive media image,do a good job of leading youth values,and actively guide the Netflix economy to provide new momentum for social development and a new path for poverty return prevention and control work. |
