| With the introduction of the new curriculum standards and the 2019 edition of the“ordinary high school textbook-biology”,the reform of the college entrance examination has also continued to deepen.Modern biology textbooks pay more attention to the cultivation of students ’comprehensive quality.Compared with the old textbooks,the 19 edition of the new textbook has changed a lot,and the chapter exercises have also changed.As an important part of the textbook,the chapter exercises play an important role in helping students consolidate their knowledge cultivation quality,and are also one of the important tools for teachers ’classroom teaching.Therefore,it is particularly important to analyze and study the changes in chapter exercises of new and old textbooks.First of all,the literature research method is used to find the relevant literature at home and abroad,master the knowledge and theoretical basis related to chapter exercises,and understand the research on biology textbooks and chapter exercises at home and abroad.Then through the comparative research method,the chapter exercises of the biology compulsory one ’ molecule and cell ’(hereinafter referred to as the ’ old textbook ’)and the biology compulsory one ’ molecule and cell ’(hereinafter referred to as the ’ new textbook ’)module in the ordinary high school curriculum standard experiment textbook of the People ’ s Education Press in 2004 and the ordinary high school textbook biology compulsory one ’ molecule and cell ’(hereinafter referred to as the ’ new textbook ’)in2019 are taken as the research objects.The research and analysis are carried out from the aspects of the presentation mode,the number,type and difficulty of the chapter exercises.It is found that the chapter exercises of the new textbook have the following characteristics : First,the number of choice questions and illustrations in chapter exercises has increased.Knowledge points appear in exercises in the form of options,covering a wider range of knowledge,more knowledge of students to examine,help students consolidate knowledge to establish a link between old and new knowledge.Second,chapter exercises are more comprehensive and open,examine students ’ ability to extract information,analyze information,integrate knowledge.Third,pay more attention to the cultivation of students ’ core literacy,put exercises in a specific situation,not only examine students ’ scientific thinking,but also cultivate students ’ ability to solve practical problems with biological knowledge.The questionnaire survey method and interview method are used to understand the importance and utilization of chapter exercises by students and high school biology teachers.In view of the problems found in the survey,and combined with the comparative analysis of chapter exercises in new and old textbooks,the application strategies of strengthening chapter exercises in teaching are put forward :(1)Exercise introduction to stimulate students’ interest in learning;(2)Exercise test to understand students’ mastery;(3)Improve exercises and cultivate students’ core literacy.The research results of this study can not only provide some theoretical significance for the study of chapter exercises in new and old biology textbooks in China,but also provide reference suggestions for front-line biology teachers to better use chapter exercises,which has certain practical significance. |
