Based on the requirements of national talent training,the Ministry of Education issued the biology curriculum standard for senior high schools in 2017.According to this,the textbook editors carried out a new round of adaptation and revision of the textbooks.And those textbooks were put into use in some provinces in 2019.On this basis,the revised curriculum standard in 2020 further determines the new basic concepts and curriculum standards.In order to implement the concept of the new curriculum,each column of the textbook highlights the cultivation of students’ core literacy of biology.As an important part of the new textbook,“the chapter summary”not only has the understanding of concepts,but also puts forward requirements for the development of students’ core literacy compared with the old textbook.Therefore,a comparative study of the " the chapter summary " of new and old textbooks is particularly important for analyzing new textbooks and understanding the new concept of curriculum standards.At the same time,the study can also provide useful help for teachers and students to understand and apply the content of " the chapter summary " better.This study mainly includes the following aspects:First,using the literature research method.The author understands the relevant research status of " the chapter summary " by querying a large number of documents,books,newspapers and periodicals.Second,the comparative research method is adopted.Through a detailed comparative analysis of the presentation mode,concept expression characteristics,content arrangement sequence and discipline literacy level of " the chapter summary " in the new and old textbooks,the author summarizes the change characteristics of“the chapter summary”in the new textbooks.Third,using the investigation method.The author used questionnaire survey and interview to survey the use of " the chapter summary " used by students and teachers in practice schools to understand the use of the summary of this chapter.Fourth,combined with the above research,the author preliminarily put forward the teaching application strategy of the summary of this chapter of the new textbook,designed the teaching cases of the summary of this chapter,and carried out the teaching practice of the summary of this chapter of the new textbook in the internship school.Besides the author provided suggestions for front-line teachers in the practical application of this column in combination with the analysis of practical cases.Through the comparison of the summary of this chapter between new and old textbooks in the teaching practice,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)In the presentation of the new textbook,the requirements of understanding concepts and developing literacy are more in line with the law of students’ cognitive development,and give full play to the implementation of the new curriculum concept in the teaching materials.(2)The language expression in this column of the new textbook is more accurate and more relevant,and pays more attention to the connection between front and rear knowledge.(3)The content arrangement of this column is more complete and detailed than that of the old textbook,and pays more attention to the networking of the knowledge system.(4)The column of the new textbook has a higher level of students’ core literacy in biology,defines the requirements for the development of students’ literacy,and pays more attention to the cultivation of students’ disciplinary literacy.(5)The application of the summary column in the chapter is one of the effective ways to help students build a knowledge system;(6)The application of the summary column in this chapter helps to improve students’ core competence in biology.According to the above research conclusions,the teaching suggestions for applying the summary of this chapter to front-line teachers are discussed,mainly including:(1)Increase the emphasis on the column of " the chapter summary ";(2)In-depth analysis of the writing intention of the column of " the chapter summary " in the textbook;(3)Strengthen the application of the " the chapter summary " column.
