| In recent years,reports on "misusing or even abusing the educational punishment by primary and secondary school teachers" have appeared frequently on the Internet,and the disputes about educational punishment from all walks of social have become increasingly fierce,making the primary and secondary school teachers implement educational punishment has become a hot topic.“Should the educational punishment be exist? How to define and exercise the educational punishment?”,and the series of issues have attracted the attention of people of various circles.This thesis analyzes the history development and research status of educational disciplinary at home and abroad by reading numerous references.Secondly,through questionnaires and interviews,this investigate includes the following dimensions: the primary and secondary school teachers’ cognition on the concept of educational disciplinary,the reasons,frequency,influencing factors,effects and suggestions on using the educational punishment;in order to collect necessary materials for the research.Finally,through the in-depth analysis on the datum and relevant literature,this paper will discuss the dilemmas and reasons of exercising educational punishment,and provide effective suggestions for exploring the standardize path of implementing educational punishment.The study found the main difficulties in exercising educational punishment are: teachers can’t grasp the scale of exercising the educational punishment,the misunderstandings about the educational punishment in society,the teachers’ rights and interests can’t be guaranteed,the exercise procedure of the educational punishment is lack of legitimacy,the teachers lack of self-reflection after punishment.The main reasons are: the deficiency of legal basis for primary and secondary school teachers to implementing educational punishment,the imperfect of school systems,the uneven ranks of teachers,the unreasonable guidance of the concept on educational punishment from society,cognitive bias in appreciative teaching etc.On the foundation of the analysis of the dilemmas and causes,in order to explore a standardize path for exercising it,this paper mainly puts forward the following four suggestions: continue to formulate relevant laws,regulations and systems;improve school related systems;strength the teachers’ training;and lead family,school and society to form a system of education. |
