Strengthening the education of the rule of law for junior middle school students is an era requirement for cultivating students’ awareness of the rule of law,building a socialist harmonious society,and building a modern country under the rule of law.The“Moral and Rule of Law” course is the main front of the education of the rule of law in junior middle schools,and undertakes the important task of imparting legal knowledge and cultivating students’ legal literacy.Students develop rapidly in body and mind,have not yet formed a good concept of the rule of law,and are easily affected by various bad ideas.Therefore,it is particularly urgent for students to systematically study legal knowledge,improve their awareness,and cultivate the concept of the rule of law.Therefore,it is very necessary and valuable to explore the optimization strategies of the rule of law education in the teaching of “Moral and Rule of Law” in junior middle schools.This paper is mainly divided into five parts.The first part explains the basis and significance of the topic selection of the rule of law education in junior middle schools,and then summarizes the related research.The second part explains the relevant concepts of the education of the rule of law,and explores the theoretical basis and necessity of the education of the rule of law in the teaching of “Moral and Rule of Law”in junior middle schools.The third part is to discuss and analyze the practical problems of legal education in the teaching of “Moral and Rule of Law” in junior middle school.Through the survey,it is found that the awareness of the rule of law among junior middle school students has been improved,the concept of legal education of teachers has been enhanced,and the emphasis on legal education has also increased.However,in actual teaching,there are still problems such as inadequate implementation of teaching objectives,relatively abstract teaching content,relatively single teaching methods,and incomplete educational evaluation methods.These problems are mainly caused by the lack of teachers’ legal literacy,the disconnection of knowledge and practice in legal education,the influence of examination-oriented education thinking,and the use of examination instead of evaluation.The fourth part puts forward the optimization countermeasures for the education of the rule of law in junior middle schools.Specifically,it includes strengthening the guiding function of the teaching objectives of the rule of law education,enriching the teaching content of the rule of law education,optimizing the teaching methods and methods of the rule of law education,and constructing a comprehensive teaching evaluation system.The fifth part discusses the practical application of optimization strategies in the teaching of “Moral and Rule of Law” in junior middle schools through practical teaching cases.
