| With the in-depth development of national reading activities such as "World Reading Day" and "National Reading Month",reading has gradually become the main method of national learning and lifelong learning.In schools,reading science has become a hot field of international science education research since people pay more and more attention to the importance of language in science learning.The Understanding in Reading of Zhu Yongxin has become the direction of domestic science education reform.Physics education is an significant part of science education,so what is the current situation of middle school students’ reading on physics popular science books? What are the rules of middle school students’ reading on physics popular science books? What are the effective ways to guide middle school students to read physics popular science books? How to evaluate the effect of middle school students’ reading on physics popular science reading is worth discussing in the field of physics education.Questionnaire survey and action research methods are used in this research middle school students’ reading of physics popular science books.The questionnaire of middle school students’ current reading situation of physics popular science books mainly includes basic information,reading attitude,reading behaviors,reading emotions,reading resources and influencing factors.360 students from S Middle school and Z Education Group were investigated in the study.The findings are as follows: 1.Students like reading science books,but they don’t have enough understanding of science reading and reading methods;2.Students like reading alone and quietly most,followed by reading in class supervised by their teacher.3.Most students hope that physics teachers can use the resources of physics popular science books to teach in class.4.Students are short of relevant reading experience and resources,and they don’t get relevant reading guidance;5.There are differences in students’ reading process due to their gender,major and parents’ occupation;6.The degree of support and frequency of guidance from teachers and parents have a significant impact on students’ reading;7.Parents’ educational background,family economic situation and family reading habits have a significant impact on students’ reading.In education practice,the author has collected and organized 124 physical science books,and has chosen Stunning Physics,Fun Physics and Fun Physics Inter-locution as the reading practice in S school and Z Education Group.At the same time,the concept map,DR/TA and SQ3 R three science reading strategies are used for reading guidance.Through the practice,it is found that there are many types of popular science books on physics,and the books are presented in various forms.The application of scientific reading strategy can help students read books and improve their reading interest.At the same time,students’ scientific thinking ability and communication ability are reflected. |
