| As one of the achievements of the continuous development of Internet technology,mobile short video has reshaped People’s Daily life and the way of information transmission to a great extent.People use short video as a new medium to meet unprecedented fragmented and mobile information acquisition needs and entertainment needs.Mobile short video this media form and mode of transmission and a great deal of difference between the traditional media,in the expansion of the effect of the new media environment,the people of their various aspects so will produce a great change,and in a short video to people caused by the impact of whether contain the effect on the reading is what this article want to explore issues.As the main group of young people,college students are energetic and have more leisure time in daily life.They are curious about new things and willing to explore new things.Short video,an information medium that can better meet the needs of college students,is becoming their main way of receiving information and entertainment.On the one hand,short videos occupy a major position among college students;on the other hand,they have high-level requirements for reading due to their own positioning.The importance of reading ability for college students is self-evident,the level of reading literacy is related to academic performance and future development.It is of great significance for college students to explore the specific impact of short videos on college students.Henan has a large number of universities and abundant samples of college students,so it is representative to a certain extent.Focusing on the analysis and research of college students in Henan can show the overall situation of college students.This paper mainly adopts questionnaire survey method,supplemented by literature method and interview method,to explore the specific impact of short videos on reading literacy of college students through descriptive statistics of survey samples and correlation between short videos and reading literacy.After combing related theory,according to the present stage of the existing research results and field interviews has been clear about the reading three constituent parts: time,understanding,analysis ability as well as the focus,through the questionnaire data collected by these three aspects after statistical analysis,it is concluded that different sample reading literacy level of high and low status.After using SPSS analysis software to analyze survey data and verify research hypotheses,the following conclusions are drawn :(1)in general,watching short videos has obvious negative effects on reading literacy.(2)The negative effect of short videos on reading literacy increases with the increase of viewing time.(3)The longer the watching time of short videos,the more obvious the crowding effect on reading time.(4)Short videos also have a negative impact on speech analysis and comprehension.(5)Reading concentration decreased with the increase of watching short videos.(6)Short video viewing has a significant impact on reading literacy,but it is difficult to have an impact on reading preference.People’s reading preference is relatively fixed.Finally,the comparison between people’s cognition and objective analysis results shows that people can clearly perceive the negative impact of short videos on reading time in terms of the obvious perceived time allocation.However,as for the two abstract aspects of reading concentration and comprehension analysis,the respondents themselves were quite convinced that they were at a high level in both aspects,but this was not consistent with the data obtained from the test,which was quite different,indicating that college students’ understanding of the negative effects of these two aspects needs to be improved.Based on the above research results,this paper also puts forward corresponding suggestions from different levels of society,short video platforms,colleges and students,including creating a reading atmosphere in the whole society through various ways to improve people’s reading interest and hobbies.Promote the improvement of short video platform content push mechanism,control the production and dissemination of vulgar content,and push relevant reading content to different groups to expand people’s reading horizon;To strengthen the management and education of college students on campus,promote the evaluation and cultivation of reading literacy ability,improve the reading ability of college students through effective ways,so that they can actively devote themselves to reading and learning,and strengthen life planning and self-improvement in college. |
