Action Research On Promoting The Sustainable Development Of Rural Mutual Support For The Aged From The Perspective Of Social Capital Theory

With the arrival of the aging society,the number of the elderly population is increasing year by year,the problem of supporting the elderly has become the focus of research and attention from all walks of life.China’s aging is faced with the characteristics of "large number,rapid growth and serious aging",especially in rural areas,the aging phenomenon is more serious.Due to China’s urbanization construction and the dualism of urban and rural areas,the lack of family pension and social support for the elderly are in urgent need of a pension model suitable for rural characteristics to make up for the loss of family pension.As a result,the model of mutual assistance for the elderly has attracted academic attention and been widely promoted in the field of practice due to its characteristics of less investment and easy promotion.Through reading the literature and related materials,the author found that the existing practice of rural mutual care for the elderly is mostly carried out in the form of rural happiness centers,with the government or grassroots organizations as the main guidance,which has achieved certain results in some areas.but is faced with the dilemma of weak follow-up development.Therefore,the national level began to encourage social work institutions to participate in the development of rural mutual support for the elderly.To this,this article through to mutual happiness F village F province to support the service project of research,based on the analysis of social capital theory perspective,focusing on the sustainable development of social workers is how to promote mutual endowment,thus mutual research workers in support action logic of sustainable development,and refine the practice of social work in mutual endowment path,And analyzes the advantages of social workers’intervention in mutual care for the aged.Therefore,with Putnam’s social capital theory as the analytical framework,this thesis adopts action research method to carry out empirical research on social workers’ intervention in the mutual care for the elderly in F village,F Province.Participatory observation method and in-depth interview method are used to collect data and analyze the development status and difficulties of the mutual care for the elderly in F village.Taking the three dimensions of Putnam’s social capital theory "participation network,norms and trust" as the action framework,the dynamic process of social workers’ intervention is presented,and the effect of social workers’ intervention is evaluated,and the practical path of social work’s intervention in rural mutual care for the elderly is refined:The internal participation platform and external support network should be jointly built to clarify the role positioning in rural mutual care for the elderly and build a mutual care for the elderly development community.At the same time,the advantages of social work involvement in rural mutual care for the elderly are summarized and analyzed,and it is found that social work has unique personnel advantages and professional advantages in participating in the development of mutual care for the elderly,and can provide adequate personnel support and professional services for the development of mutual care for the elderly.Finally,it reflects on the process of social work’s involvement in rural mutual assistance for the elderly,and puts forward some development suggestions for social work’s participation in rural mutual assistance for the elderly,in order to provide empirical support and practical reference for social work’s participation in rural mutual assistance for the elderly.
