The Internet has now become an indispensable medium for young people to live and learn.According to the "2020 National Research Report on Internet Usage of Minors",the scale of minor netizens in my country continues to grow.By 2020,the number of minor netizens in my country will reach 183 million,and the Internet penetration rate of minors will reach 94.9%,which is higher than the national Internet penetration rate.It means that teenagers are the main force of Internet use.As a double-edged sword,the Internet brings both convenience and threats.Cyberbullying is the most common cyberspace risk among adolescents,and the phenomenon of Cyber-victimization is becoming more and more serious.The longer teens are immersed in cyberspace,the more likely they are to suffer Cyber-victimization.For secondary vocational students who are in the critical period of transition from turbulence to maturity,Cyber-victimization,as a negative life event,can bring serious negative effects to the individual’s physical and mental health,and easily lead to depression and other negative emotions.In order to explore the Cyber-victimization of secondary vocational students and provide empirical research,this study combines Cyber-victimization and depression,examines the mechanism of neuroticism and coping style between Cyber-victimization and depressionand,and constructs a model between these four variables.The purpose of this study is to provide theoretical support for the reduction and prevention of depression in vocational students,and to provide a basis and reference for the practice of mental health education of vocational students.This study used the questionnaire survey method to select secondary vocational students from a vocational college in Guangdong and a vocational college in Jiangxi.A total of 840 questionnaires were distributed,and 760 valid questionnaires were recovered."Internet Bullying Scale","Centre Depression Scale for Epidemiological Research","Simple Version of the Big Five Personality Scale",the neuroticism subscale and "Simple Coping Style Scale " were used to conduct a questionnaire survey on the subjects.In order to explore the relationship between Cyber-victimization,neuroticism,coping style and depression,the data were processed by descriptive statistical analysis,correlation analysis,independent sample T test and mediation effect analysis.The statistical results are as follows:(1)Cyber-victimization,neuroticism and depression have significant differences in gender.Neuroticism has significantly difference in grade.Online bullying,depression and coping styles have significant differences in the length of time spent online.(2)Cyber-victimization was positively correlated with depression,neuroticism and negative coping style.Depression was positively correlated with neuroticism and negative coping style.Neuroticism was positively correlated with negative coping style.Positive coping style was negatively correlated with neuroticism and depression.(3)Cyber-victimization has a significant positive predictive effect on depression of secondary vocational students.(4)Neuroticism plays a mediating role between Cyber-victimization and depression in secondary vocational students.(5)Negative coping style in secondary network plays an intermediary role between Cyber-victimization and depression.(6)Neuroticism and coping style play a chain mediating role between Cyber-victimization and depression in secondary vocational students.This study examined the relationship between Cyber-victimization and depression among vocational students,and explored the mediating mechanism of neuroticism and coping style.The research results are of great significance for improving the mental health of vocational students and promoting their physical and mental development. |
