Research On The Impact Of Human Capital Investment And Industrial Structure Upgrading On New Urbanization

In the context of the new development pattern,new urbanization has become an important foundation for unblocking the domestic circular system.Promoting the high-quality development of new urbanization can improve the national comprehensive development level and help the country move forward steadily.Firstly,this paper subdivides human capital investment into human capital investment in education and human capital investment in health,so as to analyze the direct impact effect of human capital investment on new urbanization and the intermediary effect of industrial structure upgrading on new urbanization.Then,based on the research of other scholars,this paper further improves the measurement methods of human capital investment and in education health capital investment in health,and analyzes the current situation according to the measurement results.Then,build a comprehensive evaluation index system of new urbanization from the five dimensions of urban population,economic level,public services,infrastructure and ecological environment,calculate the comprehensive index of new urbanization by using the entropy weight method,and analyze the current situation of new urbanization in China according to the measured comprehensive index.Then,according to the relevant theories,this paper analyzes in detail the impact mechanism of human capital investment on new urbanization,the impact mechanism of human capital investment on industrial structure upgrading and the impact mechanism of industrial structure upgrading on new urbanization,defines the impact mechanism between the three and puts forward the research hypothesis.Finally,using panel calibration standard error regression(PCSE)and intermediary effect model,this paper empirically tests the direct impact effect of human capital investment on new urbanization and the intermediary effect of human capital investment on new urbanization through industrial structure upgrading.The results show that: First,human capital investment in education and human capital investment in health have significant positive effects on the level of new urbanization in China.Second,Human capital investment in education and human capital investment in health can promote the upgrading of industrial structure.Third,Industrial structure upgrading plays a significant intermediary role in the impact of human capital investment in education on new urbanization and the impact of human capital investment in health on new urbanization,that is,both human capital investment in education and human capital investment in health can have an indirect impact on new urbanization through industrial structure upgrading.Fourth,There is regional heterogeneity in the direct impact of human capital investment in education and human capital investment in health on new urbanization.In addition,there is regional heterogeneity in the intermediary effect of industrial structure upgrading.
