Research On Social Workers’ Involvement In Residents’ Participation In Urban Village Community Governance

Grass-roots community governance is an important part of China ’ s national governance system,especially the construction of urban and rural governance system,which needs the participation of community residents.However,the traditional community management model does not adapt to the requirements of community development,community problems emerge one after another.Therefore,under the circumstances of policy-driven and reality-driven,social workers will work through the participation of residents through the community development,accelerating the innovation of community governance model.Based on the analysis of the present situation and predicament of x community residents participating in the governance of village in the city,under the guidance of the empowerment theory,social work intervention is carried out from three aspects: individual level,organizational level and community level.In the aspect of individual empowerment,the target of intervention is extended from residents to social workers themselves to enhance their sense of self-efficacy and arouse residents ’ awareness of community participation.In the aspect of organizational empowerment,we should cultivate leaders,incubate community organizations and bring in outside organizations to strengthen the main body of community governance.In the aspect of community empowerment,guide residents to participate in the design of public space.Give play to their respective advantages,form synergy potential energy,jointly participate in the transformation and maintenance of public space,and constantly strengthen the sense of community building.Secondly,it analyzes the effect of residents ’ participation in community governance,promotes the accumulation of community capital,integrates community resources,forms the symbiosis governance model of multi-participation,and promotes the localization construction of social work’s participation in community governance.At the same time,there are also problems such as low integration of social workers,insufficient breadth and depth of residents ’ overall participation,and rigid mechanism of community participation.Finally,the paper puts forward some corresponding policies,such as improving the professional quality of Social Work Management Talents,consolidating the principal position of residents ’participation,and constantly improving the participation mechanism of community governance.Finally,it verifies the applicability of the empowerment theory applied to residents ’ participation in community governance,optimizes the way of residents’ participation with systematic intervention strategy,and stimulates residents’ participation initiative,this paper explores a feasible path for social work to intervene in community governance.
