A Study On Social Work Intervention Strategy Of Community Volunteer Team Cultivation

The community volunteer is the community carries on each kind of voluntary service and organizes the community activity the important strength,is carries on the community construction and the development essential resources,therefore,from the perspective of Participatory Development,this study focuses on the practice of social work in the cultivation of community volunteers.Starting from the problems and shortcomings revealed in the current M Community Volunteer Summer Project,this paper explores the solutions to the problems faced in the process of community volunteer team cultivation,this paper discusses the role of social work in this practice,and sums up the rules and strategies of social work involvement in the cultivation of community volunteers.This research adopts qualitative research method,using participatory development theory as a theoretical perspective,and emphasizes starting from the volunteers’ own needs,fully respecting the volunteers’ own interests and specialties,and respecting the volunteers’ subjectivity,the aim is to enhance the enthusiasm and initiative of volunteers to participate in voluntary service,and to promote the volunteers to achieve their own capacity enhancement in the process of continuous participation in voluntary service.In this study,taking the summer trusteeship project of M community as an example,social workers as a leading force,through project activities to cultivate community volunteers,and achieved good results.The theory of Participatory Development runs through the whole process of social work practice.Based on the Participatory Development Theory,this study analyzes the practice of social work in cultivating volunteers from four aspects:multi-collaborative participation,capacity building,respect for the subject status of the target group and project support.In the whole process of practice,the enthusiasm of all the forces has been fully mobilized,multi-collaborative participation has been achieved,the community volunteer team has been strengthened.The volunteers’ will has been fully respected,their own needs have been met,their subjectivity has been brought into full play,and their own development has been realized.Summing up the social work intervention strategy of the community volunteer team,we can conclude that good professional relationship is the basis of carrying out the cultivation work,and promoting the participation of multiple subjects is conducive to strengthening the community volunteer team,to sum up and reflect constantly is beneficial to the self-development of volunteers,to actively carry out individualized training is beneficial to the capacity-building of volunteers,and to bring into play the expertise of volunteers is beneficial to the enhancement of self-confidence and service quality of volunteers,the empowerment of volunteers is beneficial to the autonomy of volunteers.
