Abstract/Summary:
In the era of economic globalization,the impact and challenges of cultures from various countries and nations on the Chinese local culture are becoming increasingly prominent,the awareness of cultural inheritance for Chinese citizens is gradually decreasing,and the cultural identity and self-identity are greatly affected.Traditional culture education should start from children,and the heavy responsibility of passing on Chinese fine traditional culture falls on the Chinese curriculum.Therefore,in order to alleviate the influence of foreign cultures on Chinese traditional culture and better inherit Chinese fine traditional culture,it is of great significance to integrate traditional culture education with literacy teaching.Firstly,this study has discussed the application value of traditional culture education in the process of literacy teaching from many aspects.Second,to know the actual situation of the penetration of traditional culture into literacy teaching in the lower grades,this study took students and Chinese teachers in lower grades of S primary school in T City as research subjects.Through the questionnaire,it was found that student in lower grades had a certain capacity for independent literacy learning,but their interests in learning characters was not high and they lacked understanding of traditional culture.Through interviews with the Chinese teachers in the lower grades of S primary school in T City,the importance of teachers to the traditional culture education,the choice of literacy teaching content and methods and the difficulties in literacy teaching could be seen.On this basis,combined with the analysis of representative literacy teaching cases collected during the internship,it is turned up that there exists several problems in the current literacy teaching.These problems mainly lie on teachers’ lacking of correct understanding in terms of the importance of traditional culture education,teachers’ wrong focus on improving literacy efficiency without enough concentration on the interpretations of Chinese characters due to the utilitarianism of teaching,and the single content and form of literacy teaching evaluation.With the guidance to improve literacy efficiency and the fundamental purpose for the penetration of traditional culture education,this paper puts forward specific strategies to effectively infiltrate traditional culture in lower grades of primary schools.Teachers are supposed to read classical works and listen to lectures related to traditional culture in their spare time and they also should analyze deeply the objectives of literacy,especially in the dimension of students’ emotional attitudes and values.In addition,teachers need to use the illustrations in textbooks to carry out traditional culture education and present the charm of Chinese traditional culture vividly and intuitively with the help of multimedia.What’s more,teachers are expected to take full advantage of the campus environment to create an atmosphere reflecting the traditional culture,enrich the content and forms of literacy teaching evaluation and change the single teaching evaluation method.
