The new unified history textbooks for senior high schools in 2021 have been put into use across the country.Their long time span,large knowledge capacity,outline logic sorting and condensed narrative characteristics have brought great challenges to front-line teaching.Limited time and huge amount of knowledge constitute the main contradiction of current history teaching in senior high schools.Guidance case,as a common learning aid material,is widely used in front-line teaching.It plays an important role in guiding students to conduct independent preview and classroom inquiry.The new curriculum reform,new college entrance examination and new textbooks put forward higher requirements for history teaching in senior high schools,Guidance case should also continue to move forward in inheritance,improve in reform,so as to play a greater value in teaching.“Big ideas” is the research hotspot of history teaching in recent two years,and it is also the necessary way to implement the core accomplishment of history discipline and deal with the dilemma of new textbook teaching.The author combines the teaching concept of "big ideas" with the design of history guidance case in high school,aiming to bring the "big ideas" into full play,optimize the content design of the guidance case,improve the use value of the guidance case,and explore and implement the teaching approach of "big ideas" with the guidance case as the carrier.Construct a guidance case design strategy that is more in line with the characteristics of current history teaching.Through literature analysis,the main research results and pending research issues of the “big ideas” and guidance case are sorted out,the specific research scope of the topic is clarified.This paper defines relevant concepts and analyzes the feasibility and necessity of designing senior high school history guide plan based on "big ideas".Taking L high School in Luoyang city as the investigation object,the author found that there were some problems in the design of history guidance case,such as positioning deviation,dependence on teaching materials,imbalance of proportion,and fixed form.Centering on the deficiency of guidance case and the teaching concept of "big ideas",this paper puts forward specific design strategies for the history guidance case of senior high school in the aspects of learning objectives,content setting,independent preview,classroom inquiry and classroom testing.Taking the Outline of Chinese and Foreign History(PART 1)as an example,this paper illustrates the strategy application and the whole case design,showing the overall thinking and process of guidance case design based on the “big ideas”,providing some reference for relevant researchers and frontline history teachers.The author applying “big ideas” to guide the design of the history guidance case,is to guide the inheritance and innovation of case design.It is concluded that the design of the guidance case based on the “big ideas” can effectively improve the content quality and use value of the guidance case,and improve the problems existing in the guidance case;Helping teachers to carry out “big ideas” teaching is a beneficial attempt to solve the current dilemma of new textbook teaching.To help students learn independently and efficiently,grasp core concepts,construct knowledge framework,deeply understand knowledge and transfer and application,is a good way to implement the core literacy of history subject under the new curriculum reform.
