History is a basic and humanistic subject whose main objective is to have students’ sense of history,accomplishment of culture and humanity,even their all-round development improved.Their learning about history begins with Politics and Society Science which is a subject is studying by primary students and it also goes across the entire secondary stage.Then we can see the importance of history learning.With the development of the new curriculum reform,many new teaching theories and methods have arisen.But there are many teaching and learning problems about the divorces between teaching and learning becoming more and more serious gradually.It would be better for guiding the teaching of history in the primary and secondary stages to find out problems,analyze reasons and solve problems.In chapter one,the reasons and meanings of connection in history teaching and a detailed summarize about some related research by the formers are showed.Many teachers are teaching the same three grades in their lifetime and many of them are lack of connection,so they may could not have clear comprehensions about another three years’ learning.Another reason is that there are many divorces between teaching and learning about the curriculum criterions,teaching materials and examination forms.What’s more,junior school students have little attention in learning,but the requirement about history learning is high.As a result,their interests is becoming lower and lower.So it is necessary to solve the problem.In chapter two,the comparative analysis,and reasons about the history learning between primary and secondary stages from the curriculum criterions,teaching materials and examination forms aspects are expressed.For the first aspect,Compare the differences,find out the reasons from these differences and analyze from the curriculum ideas,structure and objective.For the second aspect,analyze the compiling system and teaching materials.For the last one aspect,realize the requires and the examination questions about divorces in different stages which is an important step in the real teaching.In chapter three,there are manysolution for each above questions in chapter two and aim to come up with practical suggestions which can be used to change the situations.In chapter four,show some practical ways about the connections by analyzing a piece of teaching design which is the period one that is chose from岳麓版必修二.It is necessary to compare the knowledges in this part in junior and high school teaching materials and express the writer’s idea from the examples.
