| In recent years,uneven internet information and academic pressure brought by exam-oriented education have caused students to take their lives lightly,and many incidents of self-harm,suicide and homicide among senior high school students have occurred,which reflect the lack of life education for high school students.In recent years,especially since the outbreak of Covid 19,many nations have indicated that life education for students should be strengthened.Schools are the main sites for implementing life education,and the stage of senior high school is extremely important in the growth process of students.Therefore,it is of great significance to carry out life education for students in senior high school.Biology,as a basic discipline of natural science,is a science that studies the phenomenon of life and the law of life activities,which contains a lot of knowledge and materials for life education and has the unique advantage of infiltrating life education.As a result,biology is an ideal subject for infiltrating life education,and biology teachers have the responsibilities to infiltrate life education in biology teaching.First,the literature research method was used to collect and organize the relevant literature on life education,and on the basis of analyzing the connotation of life education and the current status of research,the five dimensions of life education in this study were identified: life awareness,life safety,life health,life emotion and attitude,and life value and meaning.Secondly,the survey method was used to investigate the current situation of life education of Y Middle School in T city from both teachers and students.The survey results showed that the main problems in the school at present include the school has weakened life education due to the pressure of higher education,teachers mainly focus on the teaching of professional knowledge,but neglect the education of students’ life,especially life education is not well penetrated in senior high school biology teaching.Most teachers only pass by when it comes to relevant life education without making key emphasis,and there are even fewer practical activities and lack of real life experience,which leads to students’ insufficient knowledge of life and weak life awareness.In response to the above problems,the following strategies are proposed:(1)Strengthening the publicity of life education;(2)Broadening the ways of life education;(3)Actively carrying out life experience activities;(4)Increasing teachers’ awareness of life.Finally,based on the General High School Biology Curriculum Standards(2017Edition 2020 Revision)and the connotation of life education,a comprehensive analysis of the senior high school biology textbooks of the Human Education Edition(2019Edition)was conducted from the five dimensions of life education,and the life education materials in each textbook were discovered and organized,and the life education materials were analyzed for different chapters and different dimensions.The results show that each life education material can correspond to one or more life education dimensions,and the numbers of life value and meaning education materials account for the largest in each textbook.The teaching case is designed with the section of "Cell Aging and Death" as an example,and the teaching case is practiced.After the practice,a questionnaire survey was conducted on the teaching effect of the case,and it was found that the practice of the teaching case greatly improved the students’ life cognition,life health,life emotion and attitude.As a result,it is necessary and feasible to infiltrate life education into senior high school biology teaching,in which life experience activities have a certain operability,which is conducive to increasing students’ life awareness.We hope that this study can provide some references for ourselves and front-line senior high school biology teachers to conduct life education. |
