| With the increasing international status of China and the expansion of its international influence,Chinese as an important language is gradually becoming popular around the world,and the development of international Chinese education continues to deepen.One of the important manifestations is that the number of children learning is increasing.Children become an important part of Chinese learners.Teaching material is the basis of teaching,it is not only related to teachers’ teaching,but also related to students’ learning.The quality of teaching materials is related to the success of teaching.Good teaching materials can lead students to move from books to reality more smoothly,and it is one of the important ways to help students complete the socialization process.It is inevitable to build the real world in teaching materials without lack of vivid characters.Whether the social role images set in the children’s Chinese textbooks are real,vivid,rich and diverse,and close to life,whether the communicative situations they participate in reflect real daily life,and whether the characters’language can match the social roles they represent,etc.To some extent,it affects children’s language learning and the shaping of their social role awareness.Therefore,whether the social roles of characters in international Chinese textbooks are typical and representative,and whether they are close to the social roles of objective reality,is an important issue that needs attention for the compilation of international Chinese textbooks and Chinese teaching.By reviewing the existing research,it is found that many scholars in my country have analyzed and studied the social roles in the textbooks for primary and secondary schools,but they have not paid enough attention to the social roles in the international Chinese textbooks.Although some scholars have involved such issues in their research,they only pointed out In view of the existence of related problems,there are very few special researches and corresponding improvement suggestions,and even fewer in-depth studies on the social role of children’s Chinese textbooks.Therefore,by analyzing and comparing the social roles in four sets of Chinese textbooks for children from 2000 to 2009 and 2010 to 2019 in terms of role types,role images,and role presentation methods,we found that children’s international Chinese textbooks There are deficiencies in the shaping of social roles of characters,and corresponding suggestions for teaching materials are put forward:in terms of social role types,integrate the role types of textbooks,and integrate trivial and loose roles into a relatively complete social role system;role types and role relationships We should pay attention to diversification,broaden the scope of roles,ages,etc.,appropriately increase special groups,and enrich role relationships;increase female self-determined roles,and establish an excellent female image.In terms of social role image,pay attention to the appearance,clothing matching and demeanor and action;the inner image is real and distinct,and create a social role image that takes into account the advantages and disadvantages.In the way of character presentation,attention should be paid to the diversification of characters’ participation in topics and places of appearance,rationally design topics,and realize natural conversion of places;strengthen the text’s storytelling,and create a complete and vivid storyline;the character’s language style is appropriate and needs to conform to the character’s image.The social role,personality and other characteristics and environmental characteristics such as the place of communication are required. |
