| With the advancement of the new curriculum reform and the promulgation of the "General High School Geography Curriculum Standards(2017)",the high school geography textbooks have been adapted and revised.The presentation method of geography textbooks has changed,and the proportion of "activity" column has been continuously increased."Activity" column is one of the important organic parts of geography textbooks,its efficient use has a profound impact on the implementation of core geography literacy.Therefore,it is of practical significance to study the type composition and setting characteristics of the "Activity" column of "Geography1" in the Lujiao version of high school,and to seek teaching strategies in geography teaching.This paper uses the literature research method to sort out and analyze the research results of the "Activity" column of geography textbooks at home and abroad,as well as the concept and theoretical basis of the "Activity" column.Based on the analysis of the type composition and setting characteristics of the "activity" column of the textbook,four types and six setting characteristics of the "activity" column are summarized.Using interview method and questionnaire survey method,to understand the current situation of the implementation of "activity" column in actual teaching.Combined with the type composition,setting characteristics and implementation status of the "Activity" column,general teaching strategies and targeted teaching strategies for different types of activities are proposed.Finally,the proposed teaching strategy is integrated into the teaching design of "Thermal Circulation",and the teaching practice and evaluation are carried out.The main research conclusions are as follows:First of all,based on the Lujiao version of high school "Geography 1",the type and composition of its "activity" column is analyzed,and the "activity" is divided into material analysis,expression and communication,data collection,geography experiment.Secondly,based on the summary of the "Activity" column of the textbook,the characteristics of its setting are concluded: the number of activities is large,and the distribution of each unit is reasonable;the types of activities are diverse,but mainly based on material analysis;the design of activity content,emphasis is placed on openness and exploration;and the design of activity problems is inherently hierarchical;the material selected for the activity permeates the geographical thinking method;the activity situation setting pays attention to diversity.Thirdly,there are some problems in the implementation of the "activity" column of the textbook.The teacher’s teaching method is single,the processing method is inappropriate,and the processing time does not match the expected time of the students;the students’ understanding is not deep enough,the degree of participation needs to be further improved,and there is a conflict between learning expectations and actual behavior.Similarly,the "activity" column itself has shortcomings,such as unbalanced type setting,inappropriate design of some content,and layout location that affects the timing of teachers’ use.Finally,combined with the common features and implementation status of different types of activities,general teaching strategies are put forward: pay attention to implementation skills and use the "Activity" column flexibly;enrich teaching methods and improve geography teaching effects;focus on problem exploration and highlight the value of geography methods;optimize evaluation methods to promote the improvement of geographic ability;obtain teaching resources and support the development of activity teaching.According to the design characteristics and teaching value of different types of activities,specific teaching strategies for material analysis activities,expression and communication activities,data collection activities and geographic experiment activities are proposed. |
