| The growth and development of children has always been a matter of great concern.Children from troubled families are vulnerable groups among children.Due to the lack or even lack of family support system,the needs of interpersonal communication have not been well met for a long time,and interpersonal problems are easy to occur in the process of growing up.In order to address the interpersonal problems of children from families in distress,the author conducted a social work intervention with children from families in distress,with a view to improving the interpersonal skills of children from families in distress.This study takes children from troubled families in Village Q as the target population,and collects data through observation method and semi-structured interviews to understand the current situation of interpersonal interactions among children from troubled families in Village Q.The factors influencing interpersonal interactions are also specifically elaborated and analysed.In the process of service provision,combined with social learning theory and social support theory,focusing on the interpersonal communication problems of children from troubled families in Q village,taking improving the emotional control ability,interpersonal language communication ability and interpersonal cognitive ability of children from troubled families in Q village as the starting point,the method of group work was used to carry out six group activities for children from troubled families with interpersonal communication needs.After the group work,through the evaluation of the process and results of group activities,summarize the effectiveness of group work involved in the interpersonal communication of children in troubled families,reflect on the shortcomings of group work,and put forward relevant suggestions to improve the practical process of group work involved in the interpersonal communication of children in troubled families.After the study,the author has come to the following conclusions:Firstly,the group work intervention has effectively improved the interpersonal interactions of children in troubled families.On the one hand,group work intervention can help group members build up a good self-concept,eliminate the feeling of disconnection and anxiety in interpersonal communication,and improve their confidence in interpersonal communication;on the other hand,group work intervention can help group members accumulate experience in dealing with interpersonal problems,solve interpersonal communication problems,and improve the interpersonal communication skills of children from families in distress.Secondly,there are obvious advantages of group work in interpersonal interaction with children from families in distress.On the one hand,group work fits children’s physical and psychological developmental characteristics and can increase group members’ motivation to participate;on the other hand,group members have similar family backgrounds and have a greater sense of belonging to the group,which can help them build up social support through group interaction and enhance their sense of self-efficacy. |
