| Due to the better development of students’ image thinking in primary school,students generally understand geometric concepts by observing graphics,but this method often makes students make mistakes.Therefore,this study attempts to find a method that can promote students’ understanding of geometric concepts,so that students can solve problems through understanding of geometric concepts when doing problems.In recent years,programming education has received more and more attention from researchers.Researchers began to shift their research focus from learning to program to learning with programming.After programming entered the classroom,many researchers combined programming and mathematics courses to conduct research.Based on previous research,this study integrates programming into the teaching of geometric concepts in elementary schools,combines Scranio programming with drawing geometric figures,uses programming thinking to enable students to understand the concept of some geometric figures,and deepens students’ understanding of geometric figures by decomposing them step by step.Understanding of geometric concepts.This research adopts literature research method,educational experiment method and educational measurement method.Based on constructivist learning theory,Dewey’s "learning by doing" theory,and activity theory,it constructs Scranio visual programming and integrates elementary school geometry by analyzing the learning activity model of predecessors.The learning activity model of concept teaching,on the basis of analyzing the problems existing in the teaching of geometric concepts,design teaching activities in two groups of research objects of Scranio visual programming and drawing software,and implement and verify the impact of Scranio visual programming on students’ understanding of geometric concepts.This research is mainly carried out in several aspects:(1)Collecting,sorting,and analyzing the current situation of primary school geometry concept teaching,Scranio visual programming supporting primary school mathematics teaching,and defining visual programming and geometry concepts;(2)Scranio programming The applicability of the learning activity design integrated into the teaching of elementary geometric concepts is analyzed,the problems existing in the current geometric concept teaching are analyzed,and the learning activity model of Scranio programming integrated into the teaching of elementary geometric concepts is constructed by referring to the typical learning activity model.The experimental group and the control group were implemented;(3)When designing the learning activities of integrating Scranio programming into the teaching of elementary geometric concepts,the six elements of learning activities are: learning activity subject,learning activity object,learning activity community,learning activity tool,learning activity rule,learning activity Activity division analysis,design teaching activities;(4)Carry out learning activities in which Scranio programming is integrated into the teaching of elementary geometric concepts,measure and collect relevant data,and verify the impact of Scranio programming on students’ understanding of geometric concepts.The research results show that the Scranio programming designed in this study is integrated into the learning activities of elementary school geometry concept teaching,so that the students in the experimental group have the opportunity to think independently and exert their own creativity,and the students’ understanding of geometric concepts and distinguishing geometric figures has improved significantly.Although the learning activities designed by the students in the experimental group are not as beautiful as those in the control group,the students in the experimental group have a deeper understanding of geometric figures in the process of programming. |
