The Design And Implenmentation Of A Social Platform Based On Visual Programming Tool

Social Network Site is a social production of the combination of communication and the Inter net. With the popularity of QQ, micro-channel, microblogging and other instant communication to ols, distribution has gradually become an important spirit for people’s life. People desire to own a platform, which is designed to fit their expertise and background. The Guide Compendium of Info rmation Technology in Primary and Secondary Schools (trial version) points out that the main task of IT course is to enable students understanding and mastering basic IT knowledge and skills, incr easing students’ information literacy.Lego robots, Scratch and other visual programming tools have become important parts in sch ool’s IT curriculum. In this paper, we design and implementate a social network, which is a platfor m based on visual programming tool and further we would consider it as a application of a reform attemption for information technology curriculum. The platform integrates a visual programming t ools, online sharing, interactive features, and also provides an effective way for students to obtain createtive mind and learn the distribution spirit.Compared with the current popular social networks, this platform can be tied to education mo re close. The website framework is built with the open source Wordpress, and Snap. Snap is devel oped by the University of California at Berkeley.This paper introduces the basic concepts of the visual programming tools and Wordpress, des igns the architecture and function module platform, and finally realizes the platform by modifying the snap and wordpress. Based on current research background and status, this paper introduces th e basic principles of visual programming tools and Wordpress, and designs some social platform modules. We develop a sharing module of visual programming tools and the relative social functio ns by editing the wordpress database and network information.In order to improve the performance of the platform, we optimize this platform with testing a nd adding functions. The last section of this paper is a summary and bring up future research expe ctation.
