In the post epidemic era,online learning has set off a new upsurge.This form of online learning not only helps learners to use fragmented time for learning,but also breaks the space-time constraints,which is conducive to epidemic prevention and control.However,online learning is not only to upload the learning content to the network,but also to carry out more in-depth design of online learning activities and pay attention to learners' learning experience and learning effect.With the continuous development of the new generation of information technology,programming course is facing new challenges.How to improve learners' interest in programming and cultivate learners' programming ability has become a hot issue concerned by researchers.Visual programming is conducive to enhance learners' interest in learning and provide new ideas for the teaching of programming course in the new era.However,the effect of visual programming online learning needs to be further improved.Therefore,in order to promote learners' deep learning and ensure the learning effect of visual programming,it is necessary to carefully design the online learning activities oriented to visual programming in combination with the characteristics of visual programming.This research designs the online learning activity oriented to visual programming,and tests the effect of activity design in practice.The details are as follows:(1)Under the guidance of constructivist learning theory,activity theory and game based learning theory,this study clarifies the elements,types and design principles of online learning activities oriented to visual programming,and constructs a design model of online learning activities oriented to visual programming.(2)This research carries out empirical research through the course "blockly creative and interesting programming".According to the model,the author designed ice breaking and guidance activities,understanding and absorption activities,and programming and evaluation activities,in order to make learners step by step in different stages and promote deep learning.Learners began to participate in ice breaking and learning guidance activities,laying the foundation for the smooth implementation of subsequent corresponding activities.After that,learners will participate in understanding and absorption activities.In this process,learners will master the basic knowledge of blockly.Finally,the activity is promoted to programming and evaluation activities.Learners can complete works or programs independently in a certain situation,evaluate their own and others' learning,and summarize experience.(3)Effect evaluation of online learning activities for visual programming.Through the effect evaluation of the three types of activities after the formal class,it can be found that when learners experience the three types of activities in turn,their evaluation of the activities gradually increases and their deep learning ability gradually increases,which shows that the online learning activity design model for visual programming is effective.The model can provide reference for visual programming educators in the design and implementation of online learning activities,So as to improve the online learning effect of visual programming.
