The wave of informatization and the development of modern educational technology provide hardware and software support for multimedia teaching.The psychological development of students in the new era also presents new characteristics,and students have more diverse and individualized requirements for educational information.While the wave of informatization facilitates people’s access to information resources,the fragmentation it brings restricts the development of students’ cognitive ability.Therefore,the integration of educational information resources is particularly important.In 2017,the new version of the high school geography curriculum standards has been implemented,and the new compulsory education geography curriculum standards has also been promulgated.Cultivating and improving the core literacy of geography for middle school students has become the focus of current teaching.Regional cognitive literacy occupies an important position in middle school geography teaching.It is relatively abstract and difficult to implement.Documentaries are scientific and intuitive,and it is feasible to improve students’ regional cognitive literacy.How to use documentary resources reasonably and efficiently in geography teaching,so that it can play a role in improving students’ regional cognitive literacy,is the core topic to be discussed in this article.This thesis uses literature research,questionnaire survey,case analysis and other methods to carry out research,summarizes research experience through literature review,investigates the application status of documentaries in geography teaching,and analyzes practical application cases.Through the investigation,it is found that the main problems at present are: there are many difficulties in the improvement of regional cognitive literacy,such as insufficient understanding of the connotation of regional cognition by teachers,and lack of intuitive experience for students;schools are well equipped with basic equipment,but teachers’ overall modern educational technology level is not good.High;the application of documentaries in geography teaching lacks goal orientation,the selection of documentaries is separated from the content of teaching materials,the lack of specific and feasible method guidance,and the lack of pertinence in the cultivation of regional cognition.In response to the problems found in the investigation,the author analyzes the characteristics and value of documentaries used to improve regional cognitive literacy,and draws relevant enlightenment.Teachers should follow the application principles of goal,typicality,moderation,and the times when using documentary resources in teaching,so as to improve teaching efficiency.Based on my own educational practice experience,the author draws the following application strategies: reasonably acquire and process documentaries,design teaching with regional cognitive goals,improve the application of documentaries in different teaching modes,improve the application of documentaries in different teaching links,and combine teaching practice to strategy elaborated.In addition,this thesis puts forward optimization suggestions such as improving the information literacy and regional cognitive ability of geography teachers,developing and constructing a documentary resource database,and opening film and television geography elective courses,in order to give full play to the maximum effect of documentary in the improvement of regional cognitive literacy and attract more With the attention of geography educators,we will jointly develop documentary curriculum resources to help students develop their core literacy. |
