| According to 2017 edition of the "General High School physics curriculum standards","high school physics curriculum helps students learn basic physics knowledge and basic skills,experience scientific exploration process,skilled in scientific exploration methods and improve their innovative and practical abilities".It shows that the new curriculum requires teachers not only to teach students scientific knowledge,understand the physics laws and principles,but also to focus on developing scientific inquiry ability,innovative thinking ability and problem-solving ability,to promote the all-round development of students.Physics is important course in high school,which plays important role in improving students’ scientific literacy,and core goal of STEM education is to cultivate students’ comprehensive literacy,which is the same as the new curriculum standard.Nowadays,our STEM education has been paid attention by all parties,but still a lack of practical research on the application of STEM education ideas to subject courses.Therefore,it’s very important to develop high school physics experiment under STEM education.The main contents of this study are as follows:(1)To consult and analyze relevant literature on STEM education concepts at home and abroad and the integration and practice of STEM concepts in subject courses,and study research experience results of predecessors;In-depth analysis of the connotation of STEM education,related features and core literacy,and the concept of STEM concept definition.(2)To understand the current situation of the teaching of STEM ideas in physics experiment class in high school through interviews and questionnaires,on the basis of mastering the essence of STEM ideas and physics experiment class in senior high school,according to the current situation of high school physics teachers and high school students’cognition of STEM education,this paper focuses on the existing problems at the present stage,analyzes the causes of the problems,and puts forward the enabling conditions for developing STEM education practice,according to the pre-test results of the questionnaire,the experimental class and the control class with the same level in all aspects were drawn up.(3)According to the design principles and requirements of STEM teaching cases,this paper analyzes the contents of the compulsory one and the compulsory two of high school physics in the People’s education press,and extracts the experimental contents suitable for integrating carry out practical research,record the whole teaching process,students’behavior and attitude in the teaching process.After the end of the course on the implementation of the effect of post-test and evaluation analysis.(4)Using the method of questionnaire to carry on the post-test to the teaching implementation effect,observing the difference between the pre-test and post-test of the experimental class and the control class,and analyzing the research data,it is found that the experimental class has been significantly improved in the three dimensions of STEM literacy,so as to summarize the findings and make recommendations for improvement.The conclusions of the study are as follows:(1)Students’ self-construction of knowledge and skills is significant,which is mainly reflected in their active participation,hard thinking and willingness to explore in the whole process of the experiment,at the same time,he is good at solving complex problems by combining the knowledge of different subjects,which shows that the application of STEM education to physics experiment teaching in high school is feasible and effective.(2)The high school physics experiment under the STEM idea which makes contributions to cultivate student’s STEM comprehensive literacy,and improve students’interest in learning physics,cooperative learning ability,inquiry ability,innovative thinking ability,and problem-solving ability.(3)Physics experiment teaching under the idea of STEM education has promoted the teaching effect of physics experiment in high school. |
