| China’s elderly population continues to rise and the burden of social pension continues to increase.The development of elderly education plays an important role in actively coping with population aging,serving social science pension and improving the quality of life of the elderly.At present,the enthusiasm for educational participation of the elderly is rising,but the opportunity and effect of participation are not optimistic.The willingness and behavior of participation are affected by many factors.In order to explore the influencing factors of the educational participation of the elderly,taking the elderly college students in Shandong Province as the research object,taking the Structural Equation Model as the core method,and comprehensively using the methods of literature research,questionnaire and interview,combining theoretical deduction with empirical analysis,and according to the basic ideas of raising questions,analyzing questions,making hypotheses and verifying hypotheses,this paper explores the influencing factors and functional relationship of the educational participation of the elderly,In order to further improve the quality of education participation of the elderly and actively respond to the needs of the times of population aging.Firstly,it expounds the research origin,research purpose and significance,research methods and ideas,summarizes the research status at home and abroad,and combs the relevant concepts and theoretical basis.Secondly,combined with relevant literature and interview results,under the guidance of Social Cognition Theory,Adult Education Participation Theory,A Margin Theory of Needs,Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology,comprehensively consider the individual characteristics,educational resources,learning environment and other factors of the elderly,establish the dimensions of influencing factors of the elderly’s education participation,and put forward subject cognition,learning expectation,learning environment,educational resources,community impact,convenience level,participation intention and individual background characteristics are eight influencing factors.The influencing factors are decomposed into variables to obtain the measurement index variables.On this basis,the initial model of the influencing factors of the elderly’s educational participation is constructed to realize the visual display of the influencing factors and their relationship.Thirdly,based on the measurement index variables and referring to the existing maturity scale,the questionnaire on the influencing factors of elderly education participation is designed,the survey is carried out,and the data are analyzed with the help of SPSS software.Finally,the Structural Equation Modeling method is used to conduct confirmatory analysis on the research hypothesis,so as to test and modify the influencing factors of the hypothesis:(1)the confirmatory factor analysis of the measurement model is realized by the Structural Equation Modeling software Amos;(2)Realize the fitness analysis,path test,intermediary effect analysis and adjustment variable action analysis of structural equation model;(3)The measurement model is modified according to the analysis results of structural equation model,and the research conclusion is drawn.The main conclusions are as follows: Subject cognition positively affects participation intention and indirectly affects participation behavior;Learning expectation positively affects participation intention and indirectly affects participation behavior;Learning environment has a positive impact on participation intention and directly affects participation behavior;Community impact positively affects participation intention and indirectly affects participation behavior;Convenience level has a positive impact on participation intention and has a direct and indirect impact on participation behavior;Educational resources have a positive impact on the willingness to participate,and have a direct and indirect impact on the participation behavior;Participation intention positively affects participation behavior and plays an intermediary effect in the relationship between factors;Individual background characteristics affect the educational participation of the elderly and regulate the degree of interaction between influencing factors.Combined with the conclusions of empirical research,aiming at effectively improving the effect of educational participation of the elderly,taking promoting the universality and depth of educational participation of the elderly as the basic appeal,and closely combining the above influencing factors,this paper puts forward targeted and constructive opinions from the five levels of educational subject,learning environment,community influence,convenience and educational resources: first,return to the noumenon of life and give full play to the value potential of educational participation of the elderly;Second,adhere to the original intention of education and provide an appropriate environment for the educational participation of the elderly;Third,gather various forces to form a synergistic effect of the educational participation of the elderly;Fourth,establish the concept of fairness and build an interconnected elderly education service network;Fifth,respond to the demands of education and narrow the resource differences of educational participation of the elderly. |
