With the rapid development of the game industry in recent years,the competition of game industry has been upgraded to the competition of talents.Talents play a crucial role in whether a game company can survive and thrive in the fierce competition.A scientific performance management system can effectively activate employees,attract and retain talents,and improve the innovation and value creation abilities of game companies to better achieve their strategies and goals.This paper takes the performance management system of game operation department of company A as research object.It reviews the main related theories of current performance management,briefly describes the key performance indicator and balanced scorecard method of performance indicators design theory.By focusing on the four performance management processes,this paper analyzes the problems existing in the current performance management system of game operation department of company A,eg.irrational performance index system,insufficient attention to performance communication,untimely performance feedback and inadequate application of performance appraisal results.Based on the necessity,goals and thought of optimization,the performance management system is optimized,including department and job performance indicators,performance coaching and communication,performance feedback,and performance incentive.Finally,this paper puts forward the implementation plans of improving relevant regulations,optimizing the human resource system,and fully communicating with employees,and guarantee measures to ensure the optimization of the performance management system of game operation department of company A from the perspectives of supporting from senior leaders and coordinating departments,regulations,performance culture and information system.The research results of this paper can be used to optimize the performance management system of game operation department of company A,to activate employees,attract external talents,and promote the long-term and healthy development of game operation department of company A.Meanwhile,it also provides reference for other operation department of game companies to optimize performance management. |
