Research On The Implementation Path Of Outdoor Camp Activities In Study Travel

The report of the 19th National Congress points out that the main contradiction of our society in the new era has changed into the contradiction between the growing needs of the people for a better life and the unbalanced and inadequate development.To carry out the strategy of healthy China and strengthen the country with talents,and to promote and deepen the reform of the national education system are the important measures to solve the problem of students’ fully balanced development of a better life and education and to enhance the sense of gain and happiness of contemporary students based on the concept of talents in the new era.At the national education conference,President Xi Jinping made clear that education should be based on the fundamental task of "moral education" and the fundamental way of "practice education" to cultivate the five principles of moral,intellectual,physical,aesthetic and labor education.Thus,it has become the urgent need of the new education reform in our country that strengthening the comprehensive quality of students and training the builders and successors of socialism with Chinese characteristics.Study Travel,as the main way of "moral education",is developing rapidly,and it has become an important extracurricular educational activity for primary and secondary schools to improve their comprehensive quality,cultivate their living habits and improve their moral education.At present,the just started Study Travel is still very deficient in theoretical research and practical exploration,and there are practical problems such as heavy travel but light learning,only learning but not travel,and lack of scientific design.Especially the lack of physical and mental health education of students,which has become one of the important problems in the current research travel.In order to effectively solve this problem,this study will carry out empirical research based on Anhui provincial Study Travel base or camp,and design and implement the practical teaching research of Outdoor Camp Activities with some characteristics,such as strong interest,strong sense of experience,high degree of physical and mental participation,rich organizational forms,deep sharing and summary.Through the analysis and research on the development,audience,teaching staff,safety measures of Outdoor Camp Activities in 8 selected bases or camps,as well as the practical data of students’ understanding,value cognition,attitude and effect,satisfaction and other aspects of Outdoor Camp Activities,the results show that:Outdoor Camp Activities can effectively solve the practical problems of physical and mental health education of students participating in research travel,promote the coordinated development of students’ physical and mental health,knowledge,ability and moral quality,and is an important carrier to realize the combination of moral,intellectual,physical,aesthetic and labor education and practical education.Based on the investigation and analysis,the following four problems and dilemmas exist of Outdoor Camp Activities in the Study Travel:these types of activities are single,which can not meet the curriculum needs of Study Travel;the setting of these activities is unreasonable,which can not achieve the teaching goal of students’ physical and mental health;the structure of the teaching staff is out of balance and the specialty is lack,which can not effectively support the teaching task of the large team curriculum;the safety measures of these activities are not enough to ensure the safe operation of curriculum teaching.With focusing on the core purpose of strengthening the physical and mental health education of students in the research and learning journey,the following implementation paths are proposed for these practice problems:carrying out activities according to their characteristics;designing activities in different depth according to students’ characteristics;carrying out systematic selection activities based on different subjects of the course;carrying out phased implementation activities according to the different structure of the course;carrying out different forms of innovation according to the needs of the course.Striving to provide theoretical and practical reference for the Outdoor Camp Activities in the Study Travel of all parts of the country.
