As an accessory force of the Public Security Bureau,the Auxiliary Police Force of the Public Security Bureau has long held fast to the front line and made significant contributions to the maintenance of public order,emergency response,rescue and disaster relief,has become an indispensable part of public security work.However,with the fast development of the economy and society,the complexity and instability of the society continue to increase,and the auxiliary police force also has a serious shortage of police force,and this lack of police more performance for the lack of momentum for sustainable development.Low salary,poor organizational environment,limited career prospects,low professional identity and other factors,leading to more and more auxiliary police appear job burnout,it seriously restricts the high-quality development of public security work and the harmony and stability of local economic society.Therefore,it is very important to strengthen the research on the incentive mechanism of auxiliary police force.Taking the T-district Public Security Bureau of Nantong as an example,this article aims to fully understand the current situation of the auxiliary police force in the T-district Public Security Bureau of Nantong through random questionnaires and in-depth interviews with some auxiliary police officers,from the angle of material,spirit,management and development,this paper finds out the problems existing in the encouragement of auxiliary police force,and draws a conclusion: first,there are insufficient material incentives and low income levels;second,the organizational environment is not good,and professional recognition is not high;third,the assessment system is not complete,training and education are lacking;fourth,promotion space is insufficient,the future is murky.The innovation of the paper is to analyze the data by using the hierarchy of needs theory,ERG theory,two-factor theory and expectation theory,and to explore the reasons for this,and to combine the actual situation of T district public security bureau in Nantong City,it puts forward countermeasures and suggestions,including improving financial revenue,perfecting salary system,perfecting relevant legislation,enhancing professional recognition,strengthening performance appraisal,carrying out practical training and education,perfecting promotion system and removing obstacles to development.
