Research On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Cultivating College Students’ Labor Spirit In The New Era

Since the 18th Party Congress,General Secretary Xi Jinping has emphasized "cultivating and carrying forward the spirit of labor" on many important occasions,forming a collection of discourses on labor spirit with distinctive themes,which further enriches the construction of socialist spiritual civilization and becomes the theoretical basis and action guide for cultivating the spirit of labor in the new era.The emphasis on cultivation of labor spirit among college students in the new era echoes the requirements and practical needs of the times,which is not only conducive to cultivating socialist builders and successors with comprehensive development of moral,intellectual,physical,aesthetic and labor,but also can enhance college students’ in-depth understanding of labor spirit,form a conscious awareness of transforming subject knowledge into practical ability,and then guide college students to truly honor labor,love labor,work hard and work hard.In addition,it can also improve the students’ understanding of the spirit of labor and form a conscious awareness of the transformation of subject knowledge into practical ability,so as to guide them to truly respect labor,love labor,work hard,honest labor and creative labor.Through the survey,we found that the current situation of the lack of labor spirit among college students,such as the weakened labor cognition,lack of labor dynamics and lack of creative labor ability,is influenced by the diversified social environment and reflects the imbalance of the current educational ecology and the lack of cultivation of labor spirit in schools.In view of the current situation of college students,we analyze the problems and causes of the cultivation work,which is of great practical significance for the cultivation of college students’ labor spirit in a more scientific,systematic and standardized way.This paper adopts literature research method,systematic analysis method,questionnaire survey method and substantive interview method to explore the law and practical experience of labor spirit cultivation,sort out the Marxist concept of labor,the idea of exalting labor in the excellent Chinese traditional culture and the important discourse on labor in Chinese Marxism,design questionnaires from four dimensions,such as individual,family,university and society,and interview students,teachers,parents and university We conducted interviews with students,teachers,parents,and college staff to investigate the current situation of labor spirit cultivation among college students.The study found that the existing problems in the cultivation of labor spirit among college students include weak awareness of self-education,unbalanced elements in the cultivation of labor spirit,lack of diversification of labor practice,unclear authority and responsibility of education subjects,and the lack of weakening of the atmosphere of respecting labor.Based on the theory of ideological and political education and the successful experience of excellent cases of labor spirit cultivation among college students in China in recent years,five suggestions are proposed to optimize the cultivation of labor spirit among college students in the new era: Firstly,to correct the degree of labor dynamics and prevent the crisis of values.Secondly,to integrate various courses and enhance theoretical armament.Third,rely on labor practice to implement the integration of theory and practice.Fourth,create a scientific cultivation team and implement cultivation mechanism.Fifth,create a good cultivation environment and strengthen the role of environmental education.
