Research On The Cultivation Of College Students’ Labor Spirit In The New Era

Labor spirit is the spiritual product formed in the long-term labor of workers,is the unification of labor value orientation,emotional attitude,behavioral character and moral integrity,reflecting workers’ high spirit and positive psychological attitude.Since the18 th CPC National Congress,General Secretary Xi Jinping has elaborated on the spirit of labor many times,endowing it with new connotation.The value orientation of advocating labor,the emotional attitude of loving labor,the behavior character of hard work and the moral integrity of honest labor constitute the connotation of labor spirit.Practice builds spirit,and spirit guides practice.At present,China is at the historical convergence of the “two Centenary Goals”.The blueprint for national development has been drawn up,and the second centenary Goal has sounded the horn of struggle.Needing the spirit of labor to guide all members to work hard to realize dreams.College students are the main force to realize great dreams.The cultivation of the labor spirit will help the college students to cultivate morality,increase wisdom,keep fit and cultivate beauty,get all-round development,assume the responsibility of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Based on this,it has become an important topic of ideological and political education to clarify the connotation of labor spirit,grasp the opportunities and challenges,and explore the effective paths.Under the guidance of Marxist theory,combined with existing research and using multi-disciplinary knowledge,this paper research on the new era of college students’ labor spirit cultivation.The paper is divided into four parts:Part Ⅰ: Introduction.The background and significance of the research;the review and review of the research status;the ideas,methods,innovations,and deficiency of the research.Part Ⅱ: Overview of the theory about cultivating college students’ labor spirit in the new era.Defining the concepts of labor,spirit,labor spirit,the cultivation of labor spirit;Revealing the connotations of the labor spirit in the new era;Analyzing the significance and the theoretical basis of college students’ labor spirit cultivating.Labor spirit refers to the spiritual product condensed in long-term labor practice.The labor spirit of the new era includes the value orientation of advocating labor,the emotional attitude of loving labor,the behavioral character of hard work and the moral integrity of honest labor.The cultivation of college students’ labor spirit can help realize the goal of building a modern socialist country,the implementation of the fundamental task of moral cultivation in university,and the all-round development of college students.Marxist classical writers,Chinese Communists and excellent traditional Chinese culture on the cultivation of the labor spirit,and political education related principles,providing theoretical reference and inspiration for the college students’ labor spirit cultivating.Part Ⅲ: Opportunities and challenges of college students’ labor spirit cultivating in the new era.On the one hand,there are multiple opportunities,including the party and the state attach importance to it,new requirements of new generation,and a good atmosphere for the national model workers’ commendation activities.On the other hand,it is also faced with challenges,including the impact of adverse thoughts such as consumerism and hedonism,the misdirection of the theory of labor uselessness,the negative impact of adverse phenomena in economic life,the negative influence of youth subcultures.Part Ⅳ: The countermeasures for cultivating college students’ labor spirit.The cultivation of college students’ labor spirit is a systematic project,which needs efforts from the following aspects: universities integrate the labor spirit cultivation into ideological and political theory courses,campus culture construction,the daily management and the practice of college students,comprehensively strengthen the cultivation work;society pay attention to publicity and guidance,purify the network space,emphasis on market management,improve the labor system,constantly optimize the cultivation environment;family set up the correct concept of labor spirit cultivation,parents pay attention to teaching by word of mouth and example,construct the characteristic family style conducive to the cultivation of labor spirit,and carry out various forms of labor spirit cultivation activities,so as to play the role of cultivation.College students take the initiative to improve labor cognition,consciously enhance labor emotion,actively temper labor will,actively participate in labor practice,strengthen self-cultivation of labor spirit.
