As a landmark project of poverty alleviation, relocation is one of the powerful poverty alleviation measures implemented by the state to solve the survival problems of poor people living in harsh natural environments and with poor self-development ability.By moving out of poverty-stricken areas, changing outdated employment methods, and changing the status quo of poverty from the root, fundamentally solve the problem of " one side cannot support one person with water and soil ",and achieve the goal of leapfrog development of the economically disadvantaged people. The fragile ecological environment, poor economic foundation, and large scale of poverty alleviation relocation in Tibet-related areas of Sichuan are the difficulties of relocation of impoverished residents. However,Ganzi Prefecture is located in the border area between Sichuan and Tibet, which is remote, backward in development and complicated in production and living conditions.Affected by natural conditions, the development of agriculture, industry, service industry and other industries is backward, and the poverty level of the people is also the most serious among all districts and counties in Sichuan.Although the problem of "moving out" has been basically solved at this stage, the adaptability of farmers’ livelihood and sustainable development after the relocation have become prominent and become the focus of the government. This paper takes the rural households relocated for poverty alleviation in Ganzi Prefecture as the research object, adopts the questionnaire survey method, interview method and data analysis method,on the basis of the theory of integration, multiculturalism and social exclusion,to analyze the economic situation of the rural households relocated from the relocation. From the five dimensions of economic integration, life integration, cultural integration, political integration and psychological integration of relocated farmers, this paper investigates the social integration of relocated farmers, and analyzes the constraints affecting the livelihood adaptability of relocated farmers. The survey results show that:(1)the economic income and consumption level of immigrants are generally not high, the gap with local residents is large, and the quality of life needs to be improved;(2)a good interpersonal network has been established between immigrants and local residents, and after relocation, most of the resettlers have realized the change of employment mode and achieved stable income increase, and generally have high adaptability to the lifestyle of the resettlement site.(3)The education level of immigrants is relatively low,and the popularization rate of compulsory education needs to be improved.(4)Immigrants’ political integration is relatively good, and they are highly motivated to participate in community management activities and rural economic cooperation organizations, but there is still room for improvement, especially in community election activities. The right to vote and to be elected is one of the basic political rights of every citizen. It is the basic form for the people to exercise state power, and every adult citizen should actively participate.(5)The psychological integration of immigrants is good. Most immigrants have completed the role change,no longer live here as an outsider, and have a strong sense of identity and belonging to the new place of residence.According to the research conclusions, this paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to improve the social integration of farmers from five aspects: economic integration, life integration, cultural integration, political integration and psychological integration, which is of great significance to the follow-up grassroots management of ex-situ poverty alleviation and relocation.
