Research On Social Adaptation Of The Relocation Removal Elderly In Northern Shaanxi

The poverty-relief work is regarded as the national critical strategic planning,the government and society support the poverty group largely,including the relocation poverty alleviation removal policy,the policy implementation plays the prominent function on improving the production and lifestyle in the poor areas.However,the first issue faced in the policy implementation process is the social adaptation issue for the relocation removal groups,especially the social adaptation issue for relocation removal elderly.If the social adaptation barrier of removal groups can not be solved,the relocation removal policy implementation effect will be affected a lot,it not only causes the poverty relief progress stagnant,but also affects the society harmony.The writer carried out the social adaptation research on the relocation removal elderly in Y Community as an intern social worker.He selected 100 relocation removal elderly in Y Community,Hengshen County,Yulin City,Shanxi Province as the research object,understood the social adaptation status of the relocation removal elderly in Y Community by questionnaire,at the same time,analyzed the influence factors from the bad social adaptation status.With the guidance of Maslow's need hierarchy theory,empowerment theory and activity theory,the writer analyzed the service demand of target groups,carried out the “I can” ability enhancement group activity,further evaluated the practical effects of group activities on improving the social adaptation of relocation removal elderly by observation method and semi-structure interview method.Finally,the writer put forward the relevant measures on improving the social adaptation status of relocation removal elderly from 4aspects of individuals,family,community and government according to the practical effect evaluation of group activities,the quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis on research data.
