Research On The Dominant Position Of Farmers From The Perspective Of Rural Revitalization Strategy

The proposed strategy of rural revitalization is a major strategic initiative of the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core to speed up the cracking of the "three rural issues" and accelerate the progress of China from a large agricultural country to a strong agricultural country,which provides a fundamental guideline for China to do a good job in the "three rural" work in the context of the new era.The fundamental guideline.Whether farmers,as subjects of construction,governance,benefit and evaluation of rural revitalization,can adhere to the status of subjects in the work of rural revitalization and further enhance the status of subjects is not only related to the successful implementation of rural revitalization,but also a new requirement and challenge to the existing work of rural revitalization.Using literature research method,systematic research method and interdisciplinary method,this paper,on the basis of combing the concepts related to rural revitalization and peasant subjects,the important discussions on peasant issues by classic Marxist writers and successive Party and State leaders,expounds the connotation of peasants as construction subjects,governance subjects,beneficiary subjects and evaluation subjects in the context of rural revitalization strategy;discusses that raising peasant subject awareness,guaranteeing peasant subject rights and developing peasant subject capacity are the requirements of peasant subject status in rural revitalization.It is pointed out that insisting on farmers’ subject status in the context of rural revitalization can help implement the Party’s mass line,solve the "three rural problems" in the new era,stimulate the endogenous power of rural revitalization strategy and promote the effective realization of the goal of rural revitalization strategy;It is analyzed that the main problems of farmers’ subject status are that the cultivation of farmers’ subject consciousness needs to be strengthened,the guarantee of farmers’ subject rights still needs to be improved,and the capacity building of farmers’ subjects needs to be enhanced,and it is concluded that the low quality of farmers themselves,the misalignment of local government functions and the existence of urban-rural dual structure are the factors affecting farmers’ subject status.Finally,it is argued that in the context of rural revitalization,it is necessary to strengthen the cultivation of farmers’ quality,clarify the relationship between government and farmers,and deepen the reform of institutional mechanism.In the new era,insisting on the main position of farmers has a scientific theoretical basis and practical foundation,and also carries new connotations and requirements.Only by taking Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as the guide and the "people-centered" development thought as the theoretical basis,correctly grasping the new connotation and requirements of the main status of farmers,and deeply analyzing the problems and influencing factors of adhering to and enhancing the main status of farmers,can we target and effectively enhance the main status of farmers.Only by doing so can we effectively enhance the status of the main body of the farmers,promote the comprehensive revitalization of the countryside,and realize the revitalization of rural industries,talents,culture,ecology and organization.
