Study On The Satisfaction Degree And Influencing Factors Of Rural Residents’ Human Settlement Environment Governance In Xinghe County

With the rapid development of our economy and the improvement of people’s living standard,people’s yearning for a better life and the requirement of environment also improve.However,due to the dual structure of urban and rural areas and the imbalance of regional economy,urban and rural people’s living standards have great differences,uneven distribution.Improving rural environment is an important aspect of rural construction and a necessary condition for rural revitalization.Therefore,since 2018,the state has issued a three-year Action Plan for improving Rural Living Environment,followed by a five-year action plan for improving Rural Living Environment in 2021.After four years of environmental improvement,environmental construction in rural areas has achieved remarkable results,but there are some problems that need to be focused on.In this paper,literature research,field research,empirical analysis and other methods,the use of public participation theory,satisfaction theory,hierarchy of needs theory,taking the rural residents of Xinghe County,Ulanqab City,Inner Mongolia as the research object,the rural residents of Xinghe County satisfaction on the human settlement environment governance and its influencing factors were studied.First of all,questionnaires were designed.By means of questionnaires,face-to-face interviews and other methods,combined with basic personal information of residents,surveys were carried out on the governance of rural human settlements in this county from three aspects: infrastructure construction,living environment governance and environmental health governance,and a total of 330 valid sample data were obtained.Through data analysis,the overall score of rural residents’ satisfaction with human settlement environment governance in Xinghe County is 3.58 points.Among them,the satisfaction scores of three aspects from high to low are as follows: satisfaction of infrastructure construction(4.04 points),satisfaction of residential environment governance(3.55 points),satisfaction of environmental health governance(3.16 points).Secondly,the research hypothesis is put forward,variables are selected and structural equation models are constructed to study whether six factors,namely infrastructure construction,residential environment governance,environmental health governance,residents’ environmental awareness,residents’ willingness to participate and government performance level,have a significant impact on the satisfaction of human settlement environment governance.Through the empirical study,it is found that infrastructure construction,living environment governance,environmental health governance,residents’ environmental awareness and government performance level have a significant impact on the satisfaction of human settlement environment governance.However,the willingness of residents to participate did not have a significant impact on the satisfaction of human settlement environment governance.Among them,infrastructure construction,residential environment governance,environmental health governance,government performance level has a significant positive impact on the satisfaction of human settlement environment governance;The environmental awareness of residents has a significant negative effect on the satisfaction of human settlement environment governance.Finally,this paper concludes that there are still some problems in rural Xinghe County,such as lagging infrastructure construction,uncoordinated residential environment governance,untimely environmental sanitation treatment,lack of subject consciousness of rural residents,and inadequate governance work of grassroots governments.Accordingly,the following suggestions are put forward to raise funds through various channels to improve rural infrastructure construction;To improve the living environment and the living quality of residents;Strengthen environmental health management,comprehensively improve environmental quality;Improve residents’ environmental awareness and guide environmental participation behavior;Give play to the leading role of government governance and improve the effectiveness of environmental governance,so as to provide reference for the improvement of rural human settlement environment governance in Xinghe County and other similar areas.
