In 2018,the State Administration of Taxation conducted a comprehensive reorganization of the former National Taxation Bureau and local taxation bureaus,which marked the reshaping of the taxation system,and the workload of local taxation bureaus has increased,and society is paying more and more attention to taxpayer services to create a good business environment,and all these new challenges have put forward new requirements for the improvement of civil servants’ own quality.It is also pointed out in the report of the 20 th National Congress that we should select high quality professional cadres who are loyal,clean and responsible,and we are required to strengthen and improve the work of civil servants.Since the 18 th National Congress was held,more and more people are now concerned about "happiness".As an important part of the taxation function,the "professional happiness" of the civil servants in the grassroots taxation bureau is closely related to the work efficiency,which to a certain extent affects the effectiveness of work and the work motivation of the staff.Therefore,there is an urgent need to study the "professional happiness" of grassroots taxation bureaus.Therefore,there is an urgent need to study the professional happiness of the civil servants in the grassroots taxation bureaus,strengthen their own quality and change their working style,improve the efficiency of the grassroots units,retain talents and enhance the administrative capacity of the taxation system.In this study,based on reading a large amount of literature,starting from the factors affecting the professional happiness of civil servants in the grassroots taxation bureaus,all the civil servants working in the grassroots taxation bureaus in Q County were selected as the respondents,and a questionnaire on the professional happiness of civil servants in the grassroots taxation bureaus in Q County was prepared based on the questionnaires of experts and scholars,and the data of the questionnaires were analyzed by using spss software.The results showed that the occupational happiness of the civil servants in the basic taxation bureau of Q county was average and on the upper side,and the two dimensions of work motivation and work stress were significantly correlated with the occupational happiness.The factors within the dimensions of work motivation and work stress are: salary income,sense of achievement,further training,promotion opportunities,assessment mechanism,job matching,job exchange,and work stress.In the demographic variability analysis,different marital status,education,administrative rank and salary were significantly associated with the occupational well-being of civil servants in the Q County Basic Taxation Bureau.Due to the crossover and overlapping parts among several influencing factors,four reasons were later summarized: salary and benefits,personnel system,incentive assessment and promotion space.Combining the above findings,according to the correlation of the influencing factors of occupational happiness,the main reasons affecting the occupational happiness of civil servants in the grassroots taxation bureau are found to be: low level of salary and benefits,rigid personnel system,imperfect incentive and assessment mechanism,and narrow promotion space.To address these reasons,measures to effectively improve the career happiness of civil servants in the grassroots taxation bureau in Q County are proposed.
