Research On The Pathway Of Enhanceing Employment Support For The Disabled In Zhejiang Province

Disabled people are an inevitable special group in the development of society,because of their own special physical signs,resulting in the process of social employment seems very difficult,marginalisation,exclusion,non-acceptance,nonrecognition of the situation from time to time,making this special and large group of people become a difficult group of employment and vulnerable groups.It is a fundamental right of every citizen to participate in employment and to be paid for their work.It is the basis of social citizenship,a real step into social performance,and an important channel to realise the value of life.Therefore for people with disabilities employment is of great significance.The maturity of the development of the cause of the disabled can be measured to a certain extent by the degree of the country’s economy and civilisation.Therefore,the study of the employment of disabled people not only has important theoretical significance,but also has significant practical significance.This thesis summarises and reviews the results of previous domestic and foreign scholars and experts on employment and employment support for people with disabilities,and finds that the research results on employment and employment support enhancement paths for people with disabilities have the following characteristics: firstly,the research system on employment support enhancement paths for people with disabilities has not formed a widely influential view or unified opinion;secondly,it mainly focuses on macro-level research and less on micro-level research.Thirdly,due to the different or even wide disparities in the economic conditions,development levels and cultural backgrounds of different regions,the relevant suggestions and countermeasures put forward by some scholars are too macro,and these suggestions and countermeasures are hardly applicable to specific regions or scenarios.Through the data from the Disabled Persons’ Federation and other departments as well as the data from questionnaire surveys,this thesis initially analyses the current situation of employment support for people with disabilities in Zhejiang Province,the problems of etc.,and finds that people with disabilities have made long-term progress in terms of government policies,social support,access to education and supporting facilities,but there are still some problems that affect the employment of people with disabilities,and these problems have hindered the possibility of employment for people with disabilities to a certain extent.This thesis analyses the factors influencing the employment of people with disabilities in terms of personal factors,social factors and support factors,and empirically analyses the questionnaire data through logistic regression models and GBDT models.The results of the study show that age,education level,disability level,working ability,and whether or not they have participated in vocational skills training all show significant correlations with the employment of people with disabilities after repeatedly constructing logistic models,as well as measuring the importance of each factor through the GBDT model,and drawing empirical conclusions.Based on the current problems of employment of persons with disabilities in Zhejiang Province,the empirical findings and the actual situation of Zhejiang Province,the optimization paths are proposed for employment support for persons with disabilities in Zhejiang Province from the governmental,social and individual aspects.
