Research On The Integration And Development Of Large Relocation And Resettlement Areas For Poverty Alleviation And County Town Urbanization

During the 14 th Five Year Plan period,it has become an important challenge to simultaneously achieve sustainable development through relocation and poverty alleviation,as well as urbanization construction with county towns as important carriers.The relocation and centralized resettlement area for poverty alleviation in L County is the largest relocation and centralized resettlement area for poverty alleviation in Guangxi.The resettlement area is located in the county seat area and is also an important demonstration project for the integration of poverty alleviation,ecological immigration,and urbanization in Guangxi.This paper takes the relocation and centralized resettlement area for poverty alleviation in L County,Guangxi as the research object,and explores the internal logical relationship,existing problems,and solutions between the large-scale relocation and resettlement area for poverty alleviation and the integrated development of county urbanization.This paper provides a detailed overview of the current research status and related theoretical concepts at home and abroad,analyzes the impact of relocation for poverty alleviation in relocation areas on county town urbanization,as well as the driving role of county town urbanization construction on relocation for poverty alleviation in relocation areas.The two have the characteristics of consistent objects,similar goals,and similar implementation mechanisms.Subsequently,this paper analyzes some of the problems that L County still faces in the integration and development of poverty alleviation,relocation and resettlement areas,and urbanization in the county seat,such as weak industrial development,gaps in achieving the goal of "becoming rich",slow urbanization process,and incomplete supply of supporting infrastructure and public services.Based on on-site research and drawing on the experience of relocation at home and abroad,measures are proposed to accelerate industrial development,enhance the ability of relocated people to become wealthy,accelerate the process of urbanization of relocated people,and improve supporting infrastructure and public service supply,to further enhance the sustainable development capacity of large-scale relocation and resettlement areas for poverty alleviation,while promoting the urbanization construction of county towns in the relocation areas,and achieving the integration and win-win development of the two.The ultimate expectation is to provide scientific basis and reference for the integrated development of large-scale relocation and resettlement areas for poverty alleviation in Guangxi and other parts of the country,as well as the urbanization of county towns.
