Research On Residents’ Participation In Community Governance In Demolition And Resettlement Community

With the comprehensive and in-depth development of Suzhou’s economy and society,the process of rural urbanization has been further accelerated,the residents’ living standards and quality of life have been significantly improved,and the residents’ demand for living environment,infrastructure and public services is increasing,Therefore,the mode of residents’ participation in urban and rural governance is inconsistent with the mode of residents’ participation in demolition and resettlement community governance under the background of the new era.At present,there are a lot of specific research on community resettlement in China,but there are still a lot of deficiencies in the actual development of community resettlement.The demolition and resettlement community involved in this investigation and research is established at the junction of rural and urban areas.Most residents in the community are relocated and resettled people.At the same time,many tenants and house buyers also live in the demolition and resettlement community.It is precisely because the sources of residents in the community are different and the needs of each group are different.Therefore,in the process of community governance,we should more comprehensively consider the interest demands of various groups.For the demolition and resettlement communities with typical characteristics in Suzhou selected in this paper,the research on Residents’ participation in the governance of demolition and resettlement communities has a certain regional representation.The reason why the research focus of this paper is here is to provide some reference and help for residents of the same or similar demolition and resettlement communities in Suzhou to participate in governance activities.This paper first introduces the relevant concepts of residents’ participation,demolition and resettlement community and community governance,and then compares the research status of resettlement communities at home and abroad,combined with the research and analysis of questionnaires and field interviews,sort out and summarize the problems existing in the participation of demolition and resettlement residents in community governance,sort out the causes behind the problems and analyze them,It is concluded that the main factors causing problems include participation subject factors,social environment factors,governance object factors and policy environment factors.Finally,in view of the above factors that lead to the problems of demolition and resettlement community governance,the paper puts forward a series of operable suggestions and Countermeasures: first,strengthen publicity and guidance to continuously improve the literacy of community residents;Second,expand the path of residents’ participation and continue to deepen the content of community governance;Third,innovate residents’ participation mechanism,improve and strengthen residents’ participation system;Fourth,do practical things for the people and improve the quality of public services in demolition and resettlement communities.It is expected that through the research and analysis of this paper,it can promote the development and improvement of relevant theories of residents’ participation in community governance in demolition and resettlement communities to a certain extent.
