Study On Emergency Management Of College Students In A City

In recent years,student emergencies in colleges and universities are common,which not only threaten the safety of students’ lives and properties,but also seriously affect the normal teaching work order of colleges and universities,bringing serious challenges to the stable development of colleges and societies.Therefore,how to effectively prevent and deal with possible student emergencies and reduce the negative impact of student emergencies on universities and society while doing a good job in daily management has become a major practical problem for university administrators to face.Guided by crisis life cycle theory and collaborative governance theory,this paper investigates and analyzes the current situation of emergency management of student emergencies in colleges and universities in city A by means of questionnaires and individual interviews,and summarizes the common problems of emergency management in colleges and universities in city A at all stages of student emergencies,which are mainly manifested in the following aspects: inadequate institutional setting,unprofessional emergency response team,inadequate resources and inadequate plan preparation.The main problems are: inadequate institutional setting,unprofessional emergency response team,inadequate resource guarantee,imperfect preparation of plans,inadequate monitoring and early warning,lack of collaborative management,poor information communication,inefficient emergency response,formalized psychological intervention,and poor reflection.Finally,scientific countermeasures are proposed for the problems of emergency management of student emergencies in colleges and universities in city A: for the pre-stage,the government should strengthen guidance and supervision,and colleges and universities need to establish a sound organizational system,optimize the resource guarantee mechanism,improve the construction of the planning system and enhance the monitoring and early warning capability;for the mid-stage,colleges and universities should strengthen emergency information communication and improve the efficiency of emergency disposal while establishing an internal and external collaborative governance system;for the post-stage,colleges and universities should strengthen the communication of emergency information and improve the efficiency of In the post-event stage,universities should do a good job in psychological intervention and guidance,and carry out solid work evaluation and summing up.Based on the above countermeasures and suggestions,we hope to provide some references for universities in city A to improve the ability and level of emergency management of student emergencies,so as to create a better living and learning environment for students and promote the stable development of universities in the region and social stability and harmony.
