Study On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Funeral And Interment Public Services In The Main City Zone Of Xuzhou

Funeral public service is an "obscure" topic.With the development of economy and society and the equalization of public service,more people need to pay attention to it.People have more requirements for funeral and burial public services in the new era.So,as a civilized city in China,Xuzhou should improve its public services to a higher level.The author analyzes the existing problems of funeral service management in the main city zone of Xuzhou from the perspective,and provides a diversified perspective for funeral services.The author provides a variety of ideas for the funeral public governance,public service management,service supply.To make funeral public service matches the level of economic and social development,to meet people’s expectations for equal public services,the author also provides optimization method of changing the images of the funeral industry and workers and the funeral reform.In this thesis,the development status,the existing problems and the causes of funeral public service in main city zone of Xuzhou is well studied with the help of literature method,questionnaire method,interview method,the new public service,information asymmetry,dirty work and other theoretical basis.The study found that Xuzhou has made great efforts for funeral services.It has improved the funeral reform measures and the funeral public service level.It has strengthened the reform of changing customs and habits.It has built the city’s first urban public welfare cemetery,strengthened the special remediation in the funeral field,and opened the white information service platform.However,there are five problems in the funeral public service in main city zone of Xuzhou,such as the construction of the funeral public service team is not perfect,collaborative governance is difficult to form a joint force,public service supply and demand is unbalanced,the funeral industry is deeply misunderstood,funeral public service information is asymmetric.Based on the experience of typical domestic cities that are geographically close to Xuzhou and leading in funeral work in China,I put forward five countermeasures to the public funeral service in the main city zone of Xuzhou.That is to improve the construction of funeral public service team,straighten out the funeral system,strengthen the cooperation of funeral public service,form reasonable governance,strengthen the public property of funeral industry,balance the relationship between supply and demand,strengthen funeral publicity and education,enhance social identity,implement sunshine funeral service,develop funeral science,etc.
