Research On The Countermeasures Of Characteristic Town Construction In Hongze District Under The Strategy Of Rural Revitalization

To consolidate the achievements in poverty alleviation,the Party and the state have put forward the rural revitalization strategy,making issues concerning agriculture,rural areas and farmers a top priority in the Party’s work,and striving to promote sustainable economic and social development.A characteristic town is an attempt to integrate a town into a city.It can not only integrate the cultural and historical elements of a city into the local economy and society,but also combine traditional and modern values,so as to realize the revitalization of the countryside and contribute to the harmonious coexistence of urban and rural areas.In recent years,under the background of the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy,the boom of building characteristic towns has been set off across the country.However,there are some problems in the construction of characteristic towns,such as serious homogeneity and poor operation,so it is urgent to solve the difficulties in the construction of characteristic towns.Based on the overall requirements of the rural revitalization strategy of "thriving industry,ecological livability,rural civilization,effective governance,and affluent life",this article uses comparative analysis,field survey,case study,and questionnaire methods to investigate the development status of characteristic towns in Hongze District,under the guidance of block economy theory,sustainable development theory,and new public management theory,The four major problems faced by the construction of characteristic towns in Hongze District are analyzed,namely,the lack of distinctive cultural characteristics,single functional industrial development,lack of overall planning and design,and insufficient infrastructure services.At the same time,it summarizes the causes of the difficulties in the construction of characteristic towns in Hongze District: insufficient brand promotion,weak public service capacity,lack of professional talents,and inaccurate town positioning.By comparing and drawing on the development models and experiences of famous characteristic small towns at home and abroad,and based on solving the contradictions and shortcomings in the construction of characteristic small towns in Hongze region,it is proposed to adhere to the principles of "one town,one scenery,one town,one product,and one charm",and to develop a regional characteristic small town with the direction of reasonable,orderly,green,and sustainable development,And then promote the development and construction path of characteristic towns.This study not only provides direct countermeasures and suggestions for the construction of local characteristic towns,but also provides an important reference for the construction of characteristic towns in Hongze District and the areas around Hongze Lake in Northern Jiangsu,which is conducive to the specific implementation of the rural revitalization strategy.
