Casting a firm sense of Chinese national community is the new era of ethnic work theory put forward by General Secretary Xi Jinping based on the domestic and international situation and the new requirements of ethnic work,is the "main line" and "outline" of the Party’s ethnic work in the new era,providing a good work of the Party’s ethnic work in the new era It provides a fundamental guideline for the Party’s ethnic work in the new era.The complex situation of Canyuan Wa Autonomous County in Yunnan Province,the special ethnic culture of the Wa,the complexity of historical problems and the intertwined contradictions of real development highlight the strategic necessity of the Wa people in Canyuan County to forge a firm sense of Chinese ethnic community,and also reflect the practical difficulties they are bound to face in the process of forging a firm sense of Chinese ethnic community.Through research and interviews,it was found that the Wa ethnic group in Cangyuan County has achieved good results in cultivating the awareness of the Chinese national community.Firstly,the promotion of the awareness of the Chinese national community has a good promotional atmosphere;Secondly,the overall awareness of forging a strong sense of community among the Chinese nation is relatively high;Third,highly identify with the CPC and the country;Fourthly,the overall sense of belonging to Chinese culture is strong;Fifth,there is a strong sense of ethnic unity.However,due to the unbalanced and insufficient economic and social development,unstable and unsafe factors in border areas,multiple network culture shock and other objective factors,as well as the dual impact of subjective factors such as ethnic cultural differences,lack of active cognition,and simplification of casting methods,the Wa people in Cangyuan County still have some problems in casting the awareness of the Chinese national community.First,the main body of casting the awareness of the Chinese national community is insufficient;Secondly,individual Wa ethnic groups have a strong sense of their own ethnic identity;Thirdly,individual Wa ethnic groups have a one-sided understanding of forging a strong sense of community among the Chinese nation;The fourth is the lack of flexibility in the dissemination methods of strengthening the awareness of the Chinese national community.Based on this,this article proposes a strategic approach that focuses on enhancing the "Five Identities" as the core,enhancing "commonality" as the direction,and using the "Five in One" construction as the means;The five practical paths include guiding the political direction of strengthening the consciousness of the Chinese nation’s community through political construction,consolidating the material foundation of the consciousness of the Chinese nation’s community through economic development,cultivating the cultural foundation of the consciousness of the Chinese nation’s community through cultural nourishment,laying the social conditions for strengthening the consciousness of the Chinese nation’s community through social governance,and promoting the sustainable development of the consciousness of the Chinese nation’s community through ecological protection;And four specific measures are taken to strengthen the main force of cultivating the consciousness of the Chinese national community,highlight the main position of cultivating the consciousness of the Chinese national community,enrich the educational content of cultivating the consciousness of the Chinese national community,and innovate the dissemination methods of cultivating the consciousness of the Chinese national community.Through analysis and research,the following basic conclusions can be drawn: firstly,the prerequisite for forging a solid foundation should start from the specific reality of the Wa ethnic group in Cangyuan County,respect the Wa ethnic culture,and prioritize the people;The second is to combine the arduous and long-term nature of the casting process,to achieve unity of effort and long-term success;Thirdly,in order to solidify the results,attention should be paid to the beautiful experience of the Wa people towards a happy life,continuously enhancing their sense of happiness and achievement;Fourthly,the strategy should follow the integration and integration of macro,meso,and micro perspectives,providing practical and effective guidance for solving new situations and problems that may arise in the future.
