| Ritual is a complementary and de facto part of daily life,but it has a meaning "different from daily life",it decorates life,expands life and serves as a function of life needed by individuals and society.For a long time,anthropologists and sociologists have always had a strong interest in the study of ritual,and researchers in the field of education have gradually paid attention to the educational significance of ritual for people and the role of cultural inheritance.The initiation ceremony of the Young Pioneers is an important carrier of the education of the Young pioneers,which plays an important role in the identification of the identity and role of the Young pioneers,the belonging of the Young Pioneers organization,and the positive motivation for individuals.The purpose of this paper is to make an in-depth study of the initiation ceremony of the Young Pioneers and explain the value of the initiation ceremony to the growth of children from the perspective of educational anthropology.Through field investigation,the paper describes the actual situation of the Young pioneers’ entry ceremony in detail,trying to reveal the educational value of the Young Pioneers’ entry ceremony.The research mainly collects the inner feelings and opinions of the students when they participate in the Young Pioneers entry ceremony through the interview method,and further excavates the educational value of the Young Pioneers entry ceremony.The specific steps are as follows:First,the concept and connotation of the ceremony are analyzed and defined according to literature review.The specific value of the ceremony is mainly reflected in three aspects: social value,cultural inheritance and educational value.This study defines the ceremony at the behavioral level,and then analyzes the Young pioneers’ joining the team from the educational value level.Secondly,in the field investigation,the process of the Young pioneers joining the team was presented completely through interviews,collecting students’ diaries,videos,taking photos,making notes and so on.The main targets of the interviews were 13 Young pioneers,2group counselors,1 squadron counselor and 14 parents who joined the second group.All the interview contents were sorted out and archived.Finally,the collected data are analyzed and sorted out from the two aspects of the Young pioneers’ entry ceremony and the educational value of the Young Pioneers’ entry ceremony,and the corresponding views are refined.By combing the connotation and extension of the ceremony and the Young pioneers’ entry ceremony,the ceremony is defined as a set of educational,symbolic and procedural behaviors carried out in a certain field with ceremonial symbols as the carrier.During the investigation in primary school,the process and "vignetting" of the ceremony were understood and read,and the educational elements of the ceremony were summarized,namely the educator,the educated and the educational elements in the ceremony.The educational elements were composed of four parts,namely,the choice of time and space,the props in the ceremony,the language in the ceremony and the music in the ceremony.Based on the research and analysis of the initiation ceremony,it is found that the initiation ceremony is infectious,interactive and experiential from the perspective of young pioneers.The educational value of the Young Pioneer initiation ceremony for the young pioneers includes: highlighting the role change,cultivating the sense of honor,stimulating the emotional resonance and positive stimulation to the individual.In view of the characteristics and educational value of the initiation ceremony,this paper discusses the educational implications of the initiation ceremony from the perspectives of the initiation ceremony,Young pioneer counselors,schools and parents.Specifically,the entry ceremony was enhanced by incorporating elements that students liked to see,while the two-way interaction between teachers and students was strengthened to enhance the experience of the entry ceremony.The Young pioneer counselors should take the value of educating people as the ultimate goal,respect the students’ main status,use collective education to transform "peer pressure" into "peer power",and pay attention to the mental health of the students who are not in the team.Schools should pay attention to and support,strengthen home-school cooperation. |
